Visiting Angels

I have worked for Visiting Angels for over 6 years. It is an amazing company with compassionate and caring employees. All of our staff is very professional. And the company is very thorough about keeping the caregivers updated on various training courses throughout the year. I would highly recommend Visiting Angels to any family members or friends.

My father had visiting angels for help with housekeeping. Sadly the turn over for caregivers is very high. Every time a caregiver left we noticed things missing. My father had dementia and so I relied on them to keep me informed on staff changes and my fathers well being. That did happen for awhile but then I never got updates. In March my Dad died at home. After contacting VA and leaving a message I never heard from them. Never called never sent a card. The police told the medical examiner that he had spoken to his caregiver two days before his death. Of corse she was new. She told police that Dad was feeling unwell and she suggested he go to the hospital. No one called me. I contacted VA about this and they cheerfully denied anyone spoke to the police. The supervisor was new of corse. I don’t know if my father would have lived longer if visiting angels cared enough to call me but I would of been able to come be with him at the end. He died alone on the floor . The police found him after my concerned call. Visiting angels does not care but they act like they do.

I have been honored to be able to work for Visiting Angels of Southwest Colorado since 2012. They are a genuine company, and the owners work diligently to ensure that their clients are provided with excellent service, and that their employees have a positive quality of life. This company is always working to better themselves for the betterment of the people they serve.
