Visiting Angels

After being asked repeatedly to leave a GREAT review by the staff, this is my experience. Since working with this company I have noticed there is a lack of communication between the staff. And definitely between clients as well as employees which is truly sad. There is no genuine interest in clients care, I had to advocate more than once regarding showers. It was apparent if a client can not speak for themselves nothing will get done. Even after mentioning evidence of neglect due to the lack of perennial care and regular showers. I have expressed my concern more than once about the lack of care. As well as the lack of consistency to give regular showers. Even suggested to have bathes added to their daily tasks to avoid it being overlooked. After yet again bringing it to their attention a 3rd time they finally corrected it. Another thing is they love to push blame to clients regarding remaining hours and the lack of communication between them. Some clients don't receive the same treatment as others. They will express their frustrations amongst one another, instead of addressing it with the clients. Also, when I began working they never made it required to work on weekends. Now they are making it a requirement to work on weekends, no exceptions. They disregarded my concerns and did not want to discuss any resolution. Instead I was sent the verification of availability forms over repeatedly to push me to complete it. I feel that they do not genuinely care about the needs of the employees. They can sure put on a facade to keep their image up, but the lack of their actions shows they can care less.

As a caregiver that has been working here for a few years, I particularly enjoy that this office is personal, friendly & helpful , willing to truly work with you to make your caregiver/ client experience really "click" so that you want to come to work. If you have a heart for truly caring for the elderly, disadvantaged, are patient & are able to do few basic skill sets, this office staff will really do all they can to keep you succeeding toward the best outcome you wholly desire for your clients, while also providing a generally creative schedule to allow personal time , family life, etc. I have a career of 25 years in Nursing Home , Assisted Living , Alzheimer Units, Home Health Agencies. They are the best company I have ever worked for, to date, because of the people who work in the Office & I am forever grateful to them .

As a caregiver that’s only been working here for a month and a half it’s been the best job I’ve had! It’s given me the opportunity to love on others just as Jesus loves us. It’s been a great opportunity to shine my light to others just as Jesus has said too! It’s truly one of the best jobs out there! I also love the office staff and how generous they are! This place is amazing!!!!

Really great place to work. Great staff and dedicated caregivers. Super friendly, and always try fitting the best caregiver to the right client. Update 3months later: I ABSOLUTELY LOVE WORKING HERE!!! I’m almost to my 6 month mark of working for this company and it just gets better. They have showed me how much I love caregiving and how good a work environment can be. They are very helpful and accommodating to there staff and caregivers. From giving some holidays off if asked in advance, to only requiring one weekend a month that you work at least a 4hr shift (which you get to chose where). They do there best to work with you from making sure you get the hours you want, to communicating if something changes. The office staff are super nice and are fun to talk to, and they don’t mind that I come by just to check in on things. I love working for this company and hope to stay around for a while.💜

I really enjoy working for Visiting Angels, the clients and the Agency are the best! I always feel supported and valued by the staff at VA, and any questions or issues that arise are resolved quickly and in a positive manner. They always have my back!
