Visiting Angels of NWA

We were so pleased with the care given our mother with Visiting Angels. She didn't require any real care but needed someone to be here in case of a fall etc. The caregivers were VERY kind, asking what she would like to do and if/when she wouldn't respond, they just chatted with her. As it turned out, that was exactly what she wanted. Just a "friend". They were timely, let us know if they were having any trouble finding our home and very considerate. We couldn't have asked for much more!

I can't say enough good about this company! They go above and beyond for their clients and doesn't stop there. They do the same for their employees. The compassion they have for their clients and employees is top of the line.

The hiring processes very easy but, thorough Patricia was very nice and really made me fill at home. Patricia was also very professional but she made orientation very informative! I would recommend visiting Angels to everyone! You can tell they really care about their clients but also their employees. That refreshing these days!!

I have been with Visiting Angels for four and a half years now. I have found the company the best I have worked for and I have been in home health for at least 35 years. The management is great and I have found them willing and ready if I have a problem. The company is willing to work with me to meet my obligations to my family, medical and personal needs. How ever as it is with any company there is room for improvement. 1. Record keeping especially when it comes to employee files. 2. Evaluations: I was told these were done once a year. I am starting my fifth year and I have yet to have one done. I am working for the same wage I hired in for. So wages are not the best especially sense I am a C.N.A. 3. Training for caregivers could be improved. 4. The online continuing education is great but it tends to isolate the caregivers. We never see any of the other caregivers that are part of the visiting angels family. We never get to meet so that we can help each other with what we go through daily. With all these problems visiting angels to me is still the best company anyone could work for. i need money like anyone else but my clients are why I do what I do. Visiting angels care and love there clients and so do I. That trumps everything else. I just work more hours and harder. If you want a rewarding career, love people and want to help others that can't help themselves and this trumps money than I would like to suggest come and join our team at visiting angels. It is a career that is always in demand. Looking for a career not a job. Visiting Angels is wanting to meet you.
