Visiting Angels Home Care

Visiting Angels have been with my parents for almost a year. They matched my parents with a live-in caregiver that is compassionate, patient and on top of all my parent's needs such as housework, meals, showering, laundry and assisting them to doctor appointments when I am unable to. My Mother recently qualified for hospice. Our caregiver works great with the hospice nurse and aide that comes in to visit. Greg and his office team have been great when it comes to communication. I hope this review helps you when looking for care for your loved ones.

To say that Gregg and his staff were our angels is putting it mildly. My family and myself were completely distraught over the sudden decline of both our parents. As an owner Gregg was so compassionate and kind toward our bleak situation. He also was extremely instrumental in picking a staff member that he thought would be a good fit for my parents and the family. Gina was the perfect fit. Gina is a Saint put on this earth, the comfort, understanding and Love ❤️ she poured into my parents to this day still has me overwhelmed in a good warm and fuzzy way!! She made the final transitioning of my parents peaceful and we followed her lead. She brought us strength and just made this painful process bearable because we all must face it someday. She made everything better and brought out something inside of us that we didn’t even realize we had, the strength and guidance to have my parents experience comfort and love as they had never experienced it before. Whether we were singing old songs like, You Are My Sun Shine or just or just gently holding my moms hand and sharing countless happy family memories.❤️ We needed a leader then and she led. If I could give more than 5 STARS I would! Kelly and her team at Visiting Angels in Worcester made a very difficult process with aging parents easier. What started out as a request for assistance for a couple of hours per week for both of my parents quickly turned into 24/7 hospice care. Kelly was great in providing coverage as situations changed quickly. There was never a time where our family felt that Kelly and the team at Visiting Angles did not really care about my parents and what the family was going through. The care givers, Emmanuel, Phillip, Helen, Janet and Marinella (hope I did not forget anyone) were caring and responsive to all of our needs. Our mom passed on 11/21/23 and dad on 12/19/23, only 28 days apart, we are very thankful that we found Visiting Angels in Worcester to help us through this difficult time. I cannot recommend them enough! The name of the company is 100% correct - the were angels that came to visit and we will never forget their kindness and support.

When my mother needed 24/7 care, we were referred to Visiting Angels – Worcester after another agency didn’t work out. I had read that the home health industry is struggling to find enough employees, and we went through our fair share of people that weren’t the right fit, but when we finally hit on the right one we couldn’t have been happier. This perfect aide was amazing and genuinely cared about my mother. Living in another state I had to be able to trust the aide and Visiting Angels implicitly, and that was never a problem. She stayed with my mother until the end. My family is thankful for everything Visiting Angels did for us.

I'm writing this review for Visiting Angels Home Care regarding my father who was in his 90's and needed additional support living at home. We started out with a meeting with Greg who went over all of the challenges and needs and then outlined a thorough care plan for my father. We had the opportunity to meet different care givers in my fathers home to see what kind of match they would be and Greg was instrumental in finding the right fit. The process went smoothly! The care giver Barbara who had a gentle and kind demeaner was wonderful in working with my father. She followed the plan and made sure that all of needs were met. Barbara would watch TV with my father and do her best to try and convince him to get up and walk and do his exercising which was never easy for any of us! Barbara supported and helped with getting dressed, making meals, getting him to the bathroom, making sure he used his walker, :) tucking him at night, having conversations, and making his life easier. Most importantly she was really kind and cared and had patience! Patience which was so needed with someone who has confusion! At times that Barbara had a vacation we had subs come in that were equally as qualified and did an excellent job with the transition until she returned. Finding the right company that you trust to care for your parents isn't an easy task. We met with a three different companies. We found Greg and his team were professional from beginning to the end and we can't thank them enough for the heartfelt support. The right "fit" is so important!
