Shana is the most amazing cleaner and a very courteous and friendly person! Always with a smile on her face! She is respectful of my home with great attention to the smallest details so I never have to worry about a thing.
I’m delighted every time she cleans my home and I ask for her specifically because I know the job will be done right. Management is very professional and easy to talk to. Heather is very responsive and accommodating with questions or last minute schedule changes on my end. I absolutely love this company and will continue to use them.
Edit to add: Based on the "owner's" response (by the way, this is not a local company, it's owned by a father and son who run branches all over the US), this company is also dishonest. They claim they called me before sending the below email, but that simply isn't true. The email I shared below was the first and only contact we had with them in 2 weeks. They also claim they asked for proof of pest control services which is not only a false claim (they did not ask for this in the email I shared verbatim below NOR did they ask for this in any other format. Again, they have never contacted us about this outside of the email and the initial phone call) BUT this would also be impossible to produce as again, our pest control expert confirmed no bed bugs were present and there was no evidence of bed bugs having ever been present.
I have had my home professionally cleaned for the last 8 years, and I have never been as baffled by a customer service as I was by Two Maids. Two Maids has cleaned my home for ~1 year or so, and about a month ago I received a phone call from them that they were unable to clean my home because they spotted a bed bug. My wife and I immediately left work to deal with what we expected to be a terrible situation. However, upon spending +$300 to have a professional pest control company inspect our home, the company confirmed we did NOT have a single bed bug nor any evidence of a bed bug infestation.
I immediately called Two Maids and updated them; they were apologetic and put us back on the schedule, although they weren't able to fit us in for 2 weeks as Thanksgiving was approaching and they had seasonal clients to service. All good, right? (minus, of course, the $300 I spent on pest control professional to tell me what I already knew).
Fast forward to today, less than 48 hours before my next appointment, and I receive an email stating they won't be returning to clean my home after all -- ever. No explanation, here is the email I received:
"We do apologize, however, i have spoke with supper staff and owner of the company and we just can not clean your home due to what happened a few weeks ago, We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. We just can not take the chance with our maid's and as well as the company. We will no longer be doing service with you Thank you .
Stay well!"
Despite the unprofessional tone of the email, I am beyond disillusioned with a company causing my wife and I to take time off work, hire a pest control expert, etc because of an incorrect accusation. Frankly, I was ready to fire them after they falsely panicked us into believing we had a bed bug infestation, but I like a clean house.
This is on top of multiple frequent scheduling errors, a no-show, and other unprofessional behavior. I will absolutely be going out of my way to ensure no one I know uses this abysmal service.
I don't think I've ever written a Google review in my life, but I really feel the need to do it with this company. We started with them maybe 6 months or so ago. The first cleaning was okay, but not great, and they offered to redo it for free. That cleaning was amazing. The next cleaning, however, was the same thing. Some things were cleaned but others were just ignored (the shower, counters, etc). They offered a redo yet again, which was nice, but annoying considering how much you have to tidy BEFORE they come to clean. This last time, my entire living area and kitchen was not cleaned. I communicated with them about how disappointed I was and even sent pictures (stove top was dirty, hand prints on the piano, etc), and they replied with how they do not de-clutter or put away personal items. For $222 per cleaning, you are expected to basically clean your entire house for them to just barely wipe down counters and clean toilets. My living room had some toys on the floor and some books not on the shelves from my toddler and a few other things that could have been just put in a toy bag and the cleaners REFUSED to do anything in there. My husband was home, and they took his $20 tip for each of them, but never once even asked if he could tidy the living room so they could "clean" (which I assume would at that point just be running a vacuum). When I reached out to complain about this, I was told their limitations were listed in the welcome packet (which it was), but why did they tidy my children's rooms (which also had toys and clothes on the floor but those were put away and even the blankets folded in her bed) but completely ignore the living room? Very upsetting to have this happen 3 times from the same company and they would NOT give me a refund for the last cleaning (even with pictures of the dirty areas that have nothing to do with clutter). Completely unacceptable to me. As someone who works full time with two small children, the once a month service is really important to me especially with how expensive it is. I can't recommend this company at all. Find another one to actually do the job properly for how much you are paying ($222 once a month before tip - which they will email after each cleaning asking you to tip online).
Kimmy has an aura about her that just lights up my world! She is very detail oriented and folds my toilet paper in the cutest designs. She meets and exceeds my expectations and Heather is a delight to work with.
I am happy so far. It's nice to have a mostly dust-free house, clean bathrooms, clean kitchen, and freshly vacuumed floors. I had them change the linens this time, and it was nice to sleep on fresh sheets. I will keep using Two Maids and a Mop.
