My girlfriends and I came to town for a concert. We called last minute & were able to get all 4 of us in. The wash was relaxing & both stylists did exactly what we asked for. Both very kind and helpful! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
The worst place to do your makeup , better if u do it at home. She didn’t seem like she knew what she was doing.I asked her to do my eyeliner and she said she can’t do it , she needs more practice?? then I asked to apply bronzer and she said she doesn’t have one ?are u serious? Waste of my time and money , had to fix everything at home.Unbelievable how this place still in business.
I really do love the location of this place, the salon and it's convenient. Most of the stylists are friendly and approachable. However, there is one stylist that is just rude & mean. It's honestly turning me off from continuing to go here. She tends to be there on weekends. Some say it's because of a language barrier, but I disagree. She's not friendly, always makes you wait, spends extra time on other clients she likes, is rough, and each time she has done my hair it's turned out awful. The last time I was there I waited 30 min bc she went over on another appt and she was done with my hair in 25 min. I waited longer than my blow out took. I looked like a poodle but I was already so upset with the experience, I went to another salon after to help. I wish we could see which stylists we are booked with when we make an appt, because I would intentionally not book with her. I don't feel welcome when she is there and she is not inclusive to different hairstyles or textures. I've had her several times and after the last visit with her and how I was treated I just can't do it.
Made an appointment for a blow out for 1:15 on 9/29 before a wedding. Arrived at the bar early only to have them ask if they could push back my appointment. I said no because unfortunately my timing was already tight and I needed to get to the ceremony on time. They did call me to ask about 10 minutes before my appointment was scheduled, but nevertheless, if I couldn't do it the appointment should stand. So I said no, I couldn't wait, and the two people in the bar said nothing. Another woman walked in after me and they got to work on her right away. No asking if she could wait until after I was done. I had to ask if they going to be able to fit me in on time or if I should cancel, and they said yeah cancel and gave me an insincere apology. Very disappointing customer service, would not recommend.
**Edit** Owner of Salon was super communicative and helpful in resolving issue. Sent me a certificate for a free blow out, which was much appreciated. I went back to give the space another try. It was a pleasant experience, and my hair looked nice. I wasn't overwhelmed with the service but I appreciated how my issue was resolved!
