Very nice area for trekking and visiting viewpoints. We had a car so it was easy to get around. We enjoyed the coastal walk by the post office the most.
Lots of people on tours so arrive early if you can. Weather changed quite a bit during the day too so needed wind/waterproof clothing.
Post office has postcards to buy and send at a reasonable price not too different from centre of Ushuaia.
It was free entry when we went (early Nov 23) but think now it’s high season you have to pay a national park fee.
Went there by bus from Ushuaia (private company). Started from the post and then finished by the « baia lapataia »
The driver was really friendly. The entrance fee to the park was 13K
The trek around the park is quite easy and enjoyable
Walk form the post office to the visiter center Alakush along the coast and it was super easy and really nice. Took us 2:15 hours and slightly muddy !
A definitely advice you to take the time to do this walk !
If you get a chance to visit this beautiful national park, definitely added to your schedule. It is not too large to see all of the interesting places in one day, but if you have the time I would recommend two days. Or you can buy a ticket for 8500 Argentine pesos that gives you admission for two days within 72 hours of the first entry. Otherwise, you can pay 5500 pesos per person for a one day pass. A lot of people go there because they want to see the post office at the end of the world, but this appears to rarely be open annoyingly so don’t count on sending your postcards from there. There are some rather easy hikes that you can do, there are horses roaming around and beautiful vistas, and you will have a great day seeing beautiful scenery and landscapes.

Stunningly beautiful. If you are time-crunched, take one of the half-day coach tours from Ushuaia and let them show you some highlights. Recommended.
