The Poke Shack

My husband and I love the poke here. It's a very chill, no frills kinda place which I love, I was really happy to see they have rice bowls now too. I had the katsu bowl and it was super comforting. Would be awesome if they had a katsu curry option too ❤️

Great food and great service. This is the best poke I have around Champaign. The price is much more friendly and you got huge amount of protein and toppings. Highly recommend the pineapple boat!

Loved it! So wonderful to find a great poke shop in of all places rantoul illinois! Got to talk with Shai the owner for a few minutes and he's very enthusiastic and it was great to see his energy. Oh, did I mention the poke bowl was absolutely delicious!?

We went here on a recommendation from a friend who raved about it, but I still read reviews before coming. I think one said that they were still thinking about their meal days later? I scoffed at that, but now I'm right there with them. The food was AMAZING. We got the egg rolls (first egg rolls I've had in my life where I could identify the meat inside it without being told what it was, I could *taste* it) and everyone got a different poke bowl. Holy cow. I had the Big Kahuna, and now I know where I want to be taken for my birthday and literally any other special occasion that I could fabricate which could warrant eating out. If I could afford it, I'd eat here weekly. It's THAT GOOD. It was pricey, and unfortunately there weren't any leftovers, but gosh, it was worth it. I haven't enjoyed a meal out like that since... ever? It was amazing. We also had the mochi donuts - and now we have our new favorite donut place too?!? They're not as sickly sweet as American donuts, and we loved them. Tried the chocolate, strawberry, churro, and cookies and cream ones. They're just delicious!

This place is absolutely a hidden gem. Not only do they have one of the freshest poke bowls I've ever had, but sushi bowls and curry plates as well! Top 5 poke places I've tried. Very clean and very welcoming staff as well!
