The Maids in Northwest Omaha

We had the maids come out to do a one time deep clean on our house. Our house is picked up and surface cleaned every day as it’s just my husband and I who live here. They came out and I’m not sure they even touched our bathrooms even asking in the very beginning are there any hotspots, and I just said just focus on the bathrooms. Our master bath all tile shower was not even touched. They did awful, then the owner Chris was very great handled it like a responsible owner should, and offered to come back to clean it at no charge and sent a different crew out She handled it very well and for that we respect her for that. They came out yesterday and redid it. They did do a better job. The bathrooms were definitely cleaned in the showers, but the floors were not cleaned in the bathrooms and I have a small money jar in my laundry room when we find money and five dollars was gone out of that because I had just put it in there so I knew it was missing and they left the lid off and laid it in my bathroom counter, so that was a humongous sign that I knew that they stole the money. I’m not even gonna bother calling and complaining about it because this is where I’m going to give grace to the person that felt like that they needed that five dollars more than anything so I will let them have that and I’m not going to complain about stealing, but beware of ever hiring the maids to clean your house.

We hired them for move-in cleaning and it looked like they barely cleaned. There was hair balls (dog and human) everywhere that were in places that should not have been missed. There was toothpaste left in the sink and toenails in drawers. Dust on the baseboards everywhere. When I called to ask about the lack of cleaning, the manager said they were “actually” there longer than what they had charged me for (and they still missed everything?), so no additional discount was offered. They said they didn’t dust baseboards because the baseboards were “falling apart” - (not true, I ended up dusting them myself). It was an awful experience and I ended up having to clean the entire house even after paying them a ton of money to do it. I will never hire them again and will not recommend them to anyone.

My girlfriend worked there for 2 days they hired her at 10$ an hour her first day she was bit by a cat at someone's home and had to go to the emergency room because of a bad reaction and her hand swelled up. They are refusing to cooperate with humane society and the homeowners of the cats are refusing to cooperate with the humane society. It will probably be brought to a workmanship comp lawyer since both parties are refusing to cooperate with the humane society. They paid her at 9$ after telling her 10$ and refuse to be of any assistance with the animal related issue inside of the person's home horrible place to work. horrible staff that treated her really bad and was really rude to her never try to work here terrible.

I give this company one star but the deserve none they do no train employees correctly. They have a terrible way of talk to their employees. They also lie about how much starting pay is and your hours you make a day I worked from 8:15 to 3or4 o'clock for 5 days a week and some how only got 23 hours on a check I don't understand how that is possible.

I have employed The Maids for nearly 3 1/2 years. I had previously employed a "local" service that did not live up to standards. From the very FIRST CLEAN and going forward, my husband & I have been more than pleased 😁! And at an exceedingly *reasonable* price. The same Team comes bi-weekly to our home such that they know our particulars. Each Team Leader is consciences of each task, then makes a "run through" of the house before they leave double-checking that -it- had been done. At the end of the clean ~ my home shines!!! The Team members are friendly & curtious, work diligently and are a pleasure to have in my home. The Maids of NW Omaha is owned & run by people who put the customer FIRST! A really top-notch organization that knows how to run this kind of customer-care business.
