The Maids in New Orleans

No communication, unskilled cleaners, unprofessional, not what you pay for cleaning service!!! I travel occasionally for work & needed a bit of help around the house. I asked for a DEEP CLEAN for the 1st visit, only downstairs & a standard clean going forward every 2 weeks. They stated everything that was included with a deep clean & I was like ok great just what I was going to ask for. My house isn’t filthy but noticed buildup & also do manage to keep it up with a clean surface level but just needed a break for me & the kids…Day of Arrival, I had Team 2, Gloria’s Team, I called early that AM hours ahead informing that I would leave the door unlock for them due to working. Received a call when they arrived asking if I could let the maids in…who did I speak with??..Anyway no big deal. 10 minutes later another call telling me that it would be an extra charge to clean upstairs because of the current conditions (Packing to move to newly purchased home)…Again who did I speak with???….I explained for the 4th time I had not requested upstairs, down stairs only…it’s a good thing I didn’t have a big dog locked in there that isn’t friendly because they do not communicate at all seems to be. But this is All after explaining I will be working. They were only here 30 minutes. 30 minutes for a deep clean?!?! On what planet. I know because my daughter school bus arrived 10 minutes before they left. In my office I’m thinking AMAZING, Wow they work FAST for a deep clean. I went to check & looked as if the only thing that was clean was the floors, blinds & guest bathroom toilet. Literally nothing else was clean and I’m not a super finicky person. I had already deep cleaned my kitchen the day before to help them out to focus on DEEP CLEANING. Base boards still dust, dirt spot still on wall( can’t miss it) dirt on the floor still, dirt on the rug, guest bathroom base boards still dirty, & laundry room area was still the same. It looked as though my kids had cleaned. They offered to bring them out again, little did I know it was the SAME PEOPLE, for a reclean. The next day I hear complaining outside my door the entire time. Slamming on my door ect…Go check after finishing up work & still the same thing only this time they cleaned maybe a few base boards & said to Hell with everything else. They may be good for a standard clean but these cleaners, at least the ones I got are NOT SKILLED in cleaning at all. My first job as a teenager was cleaning and I would never how they did me. I was extremely heated because I would never try to get over on someone like that. My kids can do a better job & once again I’m usually a person who DO NOT complain. I’m very easy going & understanding but this didn’t sit well with me at all!!! I didn’t even bother calling because as kind as they sound on the phone there’s a communication issue in the office. Maybe I got a bad batch of cleaners who knows but I’m not risking it with a third visit I’ll try with a more local independent cleaning company. I don’t know about these reviews but I just know my experience maybe they pick and choose when they decide to give good service.

This service is Incredible! The job Team 2 with leader Destiny did for my companies on site apartment was supreme. The apartment is spotless, smells fantastic, and it's shiny 😁 if you need your business, house, or office cleaned professionally, call them! Ask for Team 2 cuz Victoria, German and everyone on the team are fast, efficient, and customer service oriented. You won't be disappointed

I’ve used The Maids for five years. I love how the company has a list of items that they clean and the leader goes through a checklist before the team leaves. Consistently a thorough job! Also, any preferences that I have are in my file for future cleans. Highly recommend

For a while I was being sent different team leaders and people almost every other visit. Now that I have Team 2 and Gloria, I am very happy. I'm pretty particular, so they have no problem with me checking the bathrooms and kitchen after they're finished cleaning.

Gloria and Team 2 were great! They showed up on time, were very professional and left the house spotless! They paid extra attention to my floors which I had asked for, specifically, and they did not disappoint!! Fantastic work!!
