The Buttered Biscuit

What a fun place. Fantastic wait staff. Ask for Joey, he’s great. Perfect BISCUITS. Great hash. Delicious potatoes. A varied and interesting menu. Street parking.

My family and I love visiting the Buttered Biscuit for breakfast. It used to be a tiny, quaint little spot that always had a wait. Luckily they expanded their space and can accommodate more people. Lucky us!! We always start out ordering the griddled crumb cake as a starter. Sometimes we add the candied grapefruit half as a starter too. The Ho Cakes are yummy and so is the the lox scramble. We keep going and trying all the menu items. Yummy!!

The food was so good!! The little downtown feel is also really nice. Feels like a little beach downtown. Beach is a bit of a walk from, but it’s a nice walk! Def a place to dine!!

The food here is amazing! We went for brunch and ordered the homemade corned beef hash (poached eggs, hollandaise, asparagus, swiss cheese, biscuit, cinnamon butter) and my sister got the meatloaf (gave me some to sample, yum). We also shared pancakes with bananas and walnuts for the table simply because we wanted to try them. They were good. 😋 We will definitely be back to try more menu items. I was full and happy. Service was good too. 👍 👍

We had an awesome breakfast at the Buttered Biscuit today! The portion sizes are very generous and the food was awesome. The homemade hot coco was also very good. The wait can be a little long for the Sunday brunch rush, but we sat at the counter and still had an excellent experience.
