The Biscuit Joint

The Biscuit Joint is 🔥. A must try. My partner and I went today, too late in the day for the cinnamon buns, but we did really enjoy the g.o.a.t. and the Papa and a side of hash browns w/ ketchup and bottled waters. We are certainly excited to try more of this menu soon! Great new place with a cool vibe.

This place can get super busy, and they run out of items the later you get into the morning, but all the more reason not to sleep on this amazing breakfast joint! My friend and I stopped in on a Saturday morning and got the OG, the mushroom biscuits and gravy, a couple orders of tater tots (too much!) and the last two cinnamon rolls they had. The food was fantastic, especially the mushroom gravy and the cinnamon rolls! Service is brisk but friendly, and while the overall vibe is a little chaotic, we were able to find a cozy corner to enjoy our food. One of my most memorable experiences we had in St. Louis! And those cinnamon rolls...!

When I walked in Elliot and the staff gave me and others a warm and hearty welcome. They had sold out of cinnamon rolls, so that means I have to come back and come early! When you decide to call your restaurant "The Biscuit Joint" you must have a great biscuit....Elliot is making some GREAT biscuits! The sausage gravy was creamy, seasoned well, and just down right delicious. My sandwich (that I ate for lunch and before a meeting ) was "The Papa" (bacon , egg, and cheese) had me singing! First of all, it's huge, and that jam of his is popping with flavor! #onthe12s Amazing! Run, don't walk! On a side note: Let me tell y'all how impeccable the customer service is....a customer came back to get a missing item and also wanted all his food hot. Elliot and his staff did just so with a smile. Shout out to them! #stlmetrofoodie

The biscuits are great. Homemade taste, flaky and buttery soft. My husband got the Papa only with the fried chicken instead of bacon. He said the panko crust made it especially tasty. I got the OG . The sausage seemed to be homemade . I would have preferred a chicken or turkey sausage but the pork was still great. You can taste the fresh sage. We shared the hashbrowns and got a cinnamon roll to go. All were very nice. We started eating before we took the pics because it was really good.

We walked into cozy little shop with counter seating. The first wonderful point of service is that some of our party have trouble sitting on high stools so the waiter told us that they share space with Omen Coffee (awesome by the way) next door and would gladly bring the food to us over if we would prefer to sit at their lower tables. The food was the next great thing. We ordered a Dally P, a single Local Mushroom biscuits and gravy, a full Breakfast Sausage biscuits and gravy, and their cinnamon roll. These were ALL delicious! The Dally P was on a large flaky biscuit with very crispy chicken and plenty of bacon and cheese. The Local Mushroom was a delicious savory gravy over the biscuit. The cinnamon roll has a biscuit texture with the unique twist of cardamom added to the cinnamon.
