My son had a blast at a birthday party here and the staff seemed nice enough. Inside is pretty run down and the bathroom looks very rough. I'm not sure they could do any better in there though without a remodel. The bday kid is VERY into wrestling though, so this honestly was perfect for him and a bunch of boys wanting to get sweaty and rowdy!

It's not a bingo hall in South Philly, but it's better than a high school gym or a VFW Post. Step in the front door (parking in the back) and immediately walk down stairs into what may have been a basement at one time, but is now ringside. The floor/ceiling between the basement and the ground floor has been removed so what's left is a concrete floor and 20-25 ft high ceilings (more than enough room for top-rope maneuvers) in what looks like a storefront from the street. The Arena is exactly what you'd expect from an indy wrestling venue: dark, loud, super crowded for big cards, roasting hot in the summer (bring a handheld fan), freezing cold in the winter (wear a coat). The bathroom is a little sketchy by the end of the show and a good chunk of the chairs are broken from ring usage. Pretty much standard for what it is. The ring is very professional looking and seems to be in good shape. Fans sit in four or five rows of chairs on all sides of the ring and there is a small aisle and open floor space from the ring to the curtained-off backstage area 15ft or so away (where most moves to the floor are performed). Fairly solid metal railing separates the front row from the action so wrestlers don't routinely go into the crowd and when they do fans have plenty of time to clear out as the wrestlers climb over the railing. There's a concession stand with reasonable prices on your standard nacho and hot-dog fare, plus the occasional bowl of chili or other special item. I do wish they had ice, drinks are in cans and served cold, but I like ice. Multiple wrestling groups use the venue so the quality of the show can differ but I can say that the wrestling I've seen has been moderate to very good and I've never left feeling like I didn't get my money's worth. A good place with nice ambiance for any wrestling fan and an interesting/fun night out for those less familiar with the squared-circle. Check their Facebook page for upcoming show dates and times.
