The Alaska Club Downtown

Such a great little gym in the heart of downtown. The weight equipment is amazing with a squat rack and deadlift platform and heaps of machines. It’s all clean and new and the guy at the counter was nice too. It’s not cheap for a casual day pass, with $20 USD the cost for this. But I did the online form thing for a free pass so got a session here for free. Great gym if you’re into strength training. I think there was a big cardio area upstairs but I didn’t go up there so not 100%

6 weeks of sessions with a Trainer was the best investment I made for myself. Christian was great! He helped me greatly on my fitness journey Alaska Club Summit

Unhappy was told by 2 staffs they will come to hydromassage room but didn't . Time was Set at 1pm. I've called front desk afew times and empty promises to come see what's the problem but none shown up left hydromassage room 1:23pm .

The downtown club is small but very convenient. I have made several suggestions for improvements and my voice was heard, thanks to the attentiveness of Charles. Charles is wonderful and he clearly takes pride and ownership in The AK Club (he is not the owner). The other staff downtown are great too. My experiences at the downtown club have always been positive but even better with Charles at the helm.

Such a great find on my work trip to Anchorage!!! I am here twice a year for work and a lot of hotels don’t have fitness facilities… problem solved!!! This place has EVERYTHING!! Super clean and absolutely welcoming place to work out! I’m training for a fitness show and this place fulfills all my training needs! Nicest staff EVER! Charles and Taylor are the best people! Highly recommend this place for locals or anyone from out of town needing to get a solid workout in! I’m looking forward to my work trips SO much more knowing this place is here!!!
