The tutors and staff were so friendly and kind to my children. They were amazing teachers. Both of my children were very behind in reading even with all my efforts. Sylvan had them up to grade level and feeling confident. We could not be more pleased! My kids enjoyed going there too, which made it so much easier.

My son was struggling and so far behind at school last year and had become completely checked out. Holding him back was brought up. We went to Sylvan's all summer consecutively, and not only did the staff encouragingly catch him up on the basics, but instilled a love for learning that he hasn't had for academics. I am happy to say, this year he tested into an accelerated program...he was almost held back last year, and has received school awards, best part, he's engaged and shining again! Thanks to the staff.

Our child has attended Sylvan for over a year and we have had a wonderful experience! Catherine, Dave and the entire staff at the Marana Sylvan are welcoming, accommodating and flexible. Our child began attending sessions to improve reading skills and as she progressed, they added math topics too. They adjusted the frequency of her sessions based on her progress and mastery of skills and helped her gain confidence in her reading ability. Our daughter was always excited to go to her sessions and the entire staff help motivate her and recognize/reward accomplishments and learning milestones. They are invested in helping your child grow and refine skills, it’s evident from day one. I am very grateful to Sylvan and cannot thank them enough for being such a positive influence for our child!

My son has been working with the WONDERFUL staff at the Marana Sylvan location for a year now. During the pandemic with the changing school schedule, my son struggled to keep up his academics and lost his confidence. The tutoring he has received at Sylvan has boosted his confidence and his drive to learn. As a parent, I appreciate their great communication and their willingness to adapt to our schedule changes. However, the best part is my son looks forward to attending Sylvan and seeing the tutors.

The Director and tutors at Sylvan have been an absolutely vital and fantastic resource for my 7-year old foster daughter this summer. They have been extremely accommodating to our constantly changing schedule and have helped our foster daughter close a rather large learning gap that she acquired due to the pandemic. Our daughter begs to come to the Learning Center, and her self-esteem has increased dramatically as a direct result of the sessions. I would definitely recommend this center to any family in need of personalized, results-driven, and empathic intervention.
