Sylvan Learning of Kansas City North

We have been going to Sylvan for several years, and we have really enjoyed the experience. I would highly recommend the Northland team. Barbara has been great, and the team of tutors has been a much needed support and lift to our regular teaching professionals.

My son has been going to Sylvan for almost a year. He was struggling with reading and writing and would shut down when I would try to teach him at home. He loves going and I can really see the difference, he is so much more confident with his skills!

My son has only been enrolled in the center for a few weeks and I can already see a significant growth in his confidence. He makes strong eye contact when speaking and does not seem as unsure when he speaks about things. The staff are all very nice and helpful. He feels comfortable and safe at the center. I’m very happy that we have made this investment in his future.

After struggling most of his 6th grade year we brought our son to Sylvan this past August to get him caught up/on the same page/ahead of where he needed to be. They have not only challenged our son, but have encouraged him all along the way. He is now a much more confident math student and we have Sylvan and their excellent staff to thank for that.

With our recent move from California, our daughter struggled in school, esp in math and it was making her doubt herself which is unlike her. She excelled in California and loved going to school. But since being out here, she dreaded going to school and it concerned us. We found out that she was struggling in some subjects and we immediately sought help from Sylvan. Thanks to Sylvan, we have our little girl back. She is more confident and a lot more happy and it makes us happy to see her back to being herself. Thank you, Sylvan!
