After 2 years of working from home and some excessive sedentary living, I discovered that with great sloth comes great inflexibility. I joined and worked with Chris and Annie S (excellent background in Kinesiology and PT) and managed to get back to where I wanted to be with my flexibility. I'm glad I started going here and recommend their service at this location.
When I was doing research on StretchLab two things came up a lot. First, there are some who say you can just do stretches on your own, and that might be true for some who have that knowledge or are currently in pretty good shape, but for someone like myself, there is no way I would have approached stretching in a way that would have been efficient or that wouldn't have caused some sort of injury. The folks here have the knowledge and backgrounds needed to efficiently maximize one's time.
Second, the StretchLab pricing/payment model might be awkward to navigate for some. Make sure you ask questions and understand you options. I went with one-hour sessions each week for a number of months to achieve my goals, but there are other options at other price points as well. Concerning the price, it's about as expensive as receiving a good sports massage, but I found that assisted stretches stayed with me longer and brought me closer to symmetrical balance and health than passive sports massages did. So, I found StretchLab to be of better value and of meaningful lasting impact. The Chanhassen location is conveniently located and has adequate parking. The space is safe and welcoming for all people (not just a place for athletes). The staff is knowledgeable and professional.
I am posting this on every sites page until my issue is resolved.
Terrible service. Constantly canceling or closed for some training. I have repeatedly called to cancel my membership and now have been charged two months in a row and still no call back.
HORRIBLE SERVICE - DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO THEIR MEMBERSHIP.

I have had many surgeries over the years and also many PT follow up sessions. I was at my limit physically with PT so I thought I’d try Stretch Lab. It’s been amazing how great I feel after my weekly session. I’m doing things pain free now and moving so much better. I am grateful to Doug, Hayley, Tonya and everyone else who has worked with me. You are all fantastic!
The staff is great and the stretches definitely helped me. However, the financial side of this agreement is heavily slanted towards StretchLab. Be prepared to pay. A lot.
Initially, you can book a single appointment online for a very reasonable amount. Easy peasy. However, to continue you must agree to weekly stretches for 3 months at $300 a month. If you don’t provide them 30 days notice prior to cancelling, they’ll hit you for another $300 for another month.
It’s really sad, as I enjoyed this place and would have continued being a customer if I was able to schedule stretches when I need them and my schedule allowed.
I like when good businesses make good money. But, I greatly dislike being treated like a money piñata. In a growing market, I’m sure there are other alternatives which are more flexible (pun intended).
Matthew is amazing. I decided to take my physical health more seriously this year, and was so excited to find the StretchLab. I need to work on flexibility and just generally get my body back in order, muscle work has been something I've been interested in for years, so StretchLab was exactly what I was looking for.
I signed up for their membership, and am going weekly at this point. Today was my 3rd session, and I've definitely seen progress.
I highly recommend StretchLab in Chanhassen, I'm sure they're all great, but I definitely suggest trying Matthew. 😁
