SimonMed Imaging - Deer Valley

I have been to several Simon Med locations but, never been treated with so much care and kindness. From the receptionist who was absolutely the sweetest to the CT scan technician Greg. He took the time to explained everything to me, was very kind and respectful and when I entered the CT scan room and saw what Greg did to it, I was speechless. The room was inviting and calming. I was transported to an aquarium and forgot what I was there for. And this was his idea. Special thanks to the wonderful receptionist ( girl with braids) who offered some flavor pack to add to the liquid I needed for the scan and the hug after the scan. You made my day 🥰. Best medical imaging location I have ever been!!!

This office and staff were great! Very clean and the front desk girls were very helpful. After asking about my high dollar after insurance amount, the receptionist told me sometimes cash price is better. She looked it up and sure enough it was so I went that route. Joe helped conduct my CT scan and we did have to use the contrast through IV. I've an anxiety with needles/ injections and he helped to ease the process. It was a breeze and Joe thoroughly explained each step as this was my first ever CT scan. Great staff all around. Thanks guys!

You guys have one saving grace and one alone at your Deer Valley office: Desiree. The other employee couldn't 'find' my order when it was in fact online and told me to pound sand. I think I saw her at another locale in the past wherein she was just as useless. Investigate. You'll see I'm right. Desiree made sure she found my order, got me an X-ray and then checked on techs for my mri. She is a gift worthy of all the promotions that should be coming her way.

Great customer service. at this facility not the company. The company could make use of better management . There were no Rad Techs in four offices but one and the X-ray machine went down in that office.I needed a Thoracic spine X-ray, could not get it till next day. Three out of four offices should have techs that can do full body xrays , not PTR.

The firs time I scheduled this appointment for 8am on a Saturday , it was canceled the same day with no warning or explanation. The second attempt, o was notified the same day of my appointment that I needed a mammogram in order to complete the ultrasound and I could do this today, however, I would need an order from my doctor for a mammogram. After scrambling to get a mammogram from my doctor, I went to my appointment and proceeded to be scolded by the mammogram tech for not being “prepared” with enough history for today’s visit. (Yes, the visit that up until 3 hours ago I was unaware was happening) after this is was asked to disrobe from the waist up and put a gown on open in the front and the mammogram was completed. I was then asked the gather my things and step out of the room into a small area open to all traffic traveling back for X-rays whilst holding this gown closed! I was then called for the ultrasound, the tech was a student and, outside from the front desk the ONLY person to offer a smile or friendly salutation. I was then returned to the hallway to wait again. Finally, the ultrasound technician (not the student) took me into a small room and sat me down while she stood up and talked down to me to give me good news thank goodness but you really wouldn’t know it by her tone, her demeanor or her body language. As soon as o got outside to my husband I burst into tears! This was by far the worst experience I have had so far with imaging, do not trust this place for sensitive imaging they are seriously lacking bedside manner and empathy at a time when we are most vulnerable.
