I wish I could give zero stars. They take forever to process CC payments and on prepaid cards they hold funds FOR DAYS! I tried to pay at the pump using one of my prepaid rebate reward cards, because it only had $42 on it it denied my transaction, I had to use a different card AND it held ALL the funds on my rebate card (even though i didn't use it for my purchase)! It has been 2 days and they are still holding my funds on the xard not used for my purchase. I would rather run out of gas on the side of the road and call for help than use this gas station again
May 19th Update: It has been 5 days and my funds are still being held.
May 20th update: I called the card issuer and asked them about the hold. Shell is holding my funds for 10 days. Card issuer said they could release the funds if they could speak to the store. I called and explained the situation and the person at the store hung up on me.
Semi Regular gas stop on my way home. Pumps seem to be continually broken or suspect, and soooooo slooooooow. I can literally fill up 3x over at other places during the same time it takes once here. Store stock is fine, typically overpriced convenience foods. Staff is nice & polite.
Edit 5.4.20: Note that this store seems to really enjoy overcharging for gas. Compared to other local stations, they routinely charge 10 to 40 cents more. I'm making it a habit to be conscious and skip this store when they aren't meeting the rest of the neighborhood pricing. I'm sure they do it because they're right off 435 and not many other places are easily located/accessed.
