School of Rock

We started drum lessons for my daughter two months ago and she is loving it. She even enjoys practicing which is very different from previous music lessons. The instructors make it fun to learn and the staff are pleasant and helpful. Highly recommend giving them a try if your children are interested in music.

Checked the place out and it looked interesting so I signed up my son for a drum lesson tryout. Went well, the instructor even said he was talented. I wanted to sign up for the program. Got a phone call the next day and was basically told “we have enough drummers” so thanks but no thanks. It would have been nice to know that they had plenty of drummers before we spent the time getting my son evaluated and worse, getting his hopes up. Not cool.

My kids have been coming to School of Rock since they opened in Haymarket and have loved every moment. The staff is wonderful and my children went from never having picked up an instrument to playing in the Rock 101 band in just a few months. If your child has any interest in music The School of Rock in Haymarket is the place to be.

Awesome program. Their instructors are top-notch and the group lessons help the kids make an amazing amount of progress in such a short period of time because of the program. I’d recommend this to anyone looking for an awesome program for kids who want to learn an instrument :)
