School of Rock ** ROCKS !! As an adult learner they have made my experience amazing. The instructors are patient and knowledgeable and make learning fun. Front staff are kind and make you feel welcomed. No better place to master and learn to play music. Rock the Casbah!

Kevin Quinn and Jarryd Razak are both excellent guitar teachers. I’ve been playing for many years (without instruction) but my skills have improved markedly with their instruction, guidance and support.

School of Rock Huntington is so much more than a place to take music lessons. The instructors are amazing. They are incredibly encouraging and really get to know the kids. The best part from my perspective is how incredibly welcoming the School of Rock instructors, staff and students are to each and every kid. It truly has become a home away from home for my son. School of Rock Huntington has created a space where kids can feel comfortable expressing themselves, knowing they are safe and valued for exactly who they are. My son participated in one of the camps over the summer. He didn't have any of his close friends going with him. He didn't care. He went by himself knowing he would make a million friends and be included. That is not the case with any other camp that I've signed him up for. The owner Monica is a gem. She is 100% there for the kids. She gets to know each of them and offers opportunities for every kid to shine. I can say without question that School of Rock is the best thing we have ever done for our son. My son's confidence, happiness and self esteem has improved tremendously since starting at School of Rock over a year ago.

School of Rock is a great place for my son, who is learning not only to play guitar and sing, but also learn confidence, teamwork, and learn more about his abilities to set himself up for more success to come. He started fairly young doing one on one sessions, and just 6 months ago became part of the Rock 101 band. Suddenly he’s seeing the big picture of why it’s so cool to play music in a band and perform for others. He’s really hooked on it. I can see the change in his attitude and confidence. It can be a challenge for him to focus and stay attentive, but put a guitar or a microphone in his hand with a band and he becomes the boy he knows he can be. The staff is super nice and professional and really know how to be with kids. I would recommend anyone with any musical interest try it out and see if it sticks. My son started out slow but every time we asked him if he wanted to stop he said No! We’re so glad we kept him in, and looking forward to many concerts to come!

Monica and Dylan have created a safe place for like minded kids to pursue their love of music. Inspiring and inclusive, SOR is my son's happy place.
