I have worked for 16 years at Sanitas Les Corts and I can assure you that their team goes out of their way to take care of our grandparents as if they were their own. For this reason my family and I entrusted the care of 2 of my grandparents to this center. Thanks for everything!
My father has been admitted to this residence for a year and a few months, while he was self-employed we did not appreciate the shortcomings that the residence has regarding the care of the residents, but now that my father is dependent we can appreciate that it is a residence with good facilities and a lot of facade, but it's all there. My father suffered repeated falls and the last one was the most serious, Dr. He considered that it was not necessary to refer him to the hospital emergency room, because older people fall, despite seeing my father's daily suffering. On the tenth day after the fall, a nurse did consider that it was necessary to refer him to the hospital's emergency department, and the diagnosis was a broken vertebra. You can imagine how he has suffered and the care he now receives is insufficient, my real feeling is that he is parked all day, along with other dependent people in a room that leaves a lot to be desired. Also on the day of the fall, his new teeth, which he had worn for the first time two days ago, disappeared. The residence does not take responsibility for this loss because it does not have insurance coverage for these cases and blames the old man for the loss, but does not find out why. these things happen.
This residence draws attention for its facilities, but don't be fooled, everything is just a façade, the dependents are not well cared for, and you can also see the lack of staff and qualifications for this task.
In short, I do not recommend this residence.
My father spent almost a year in the second floor where they live on the main floor, without going into detail everything was more or less good but they decided to move it to the first floor, I opposed it because of how bad it is for patients with dementia the changes due to disorientation...even so they changed it claiming that it would be better served! Once on the ward he was ill, after calling the nurses 4 times an assistant reinforced me and in the end they listened to me by calling the doctor at the ward, he had a urine infection, the external doctor alerted me a little about how he was being treated My father...they put him in bed and it doesn't occur to them that the best thing is for him to be locked up, they said it was so they wouldn't bother him, I don't know where he lives in case of a fire (he is totally dependent) when we arrived we had to Look for an assistant (from 11 to 12 there is no one in the room watching) I opened the door for you. And many times with the dirty diaper the assistants apologize... but when talking to the director she says that the changes are made between 11 and 15 and what is their fault if my father defecates at 11.15!! A person bedridden with an ulcer with a dirty diaper...face up (when he had to be on his side...) My sister-in-law is a nurse and told me that I was very thin and dehydrated, I carried hydration and yogurt with protein every day but the plant She caught COVID and was isolated, they didn't let me go up. When they left me...they told me that I was very sick (because of COVID) when I saw him...my goodness...we called the external doctor who got angry with the nurse for not having followed up on the urine infection but the worst thing was It was upon arriving at the hospital that the sodium reached 164 and I almost died from dehydration. I cannot comment on the comments that the hospital professionals, the cap doctor or the ambulance nurses told me about this residence. If anyone wants more information, you can call 606061824 and I will provide information.
I had to remove my father and change his residence.
This is a residence for people who are well, not for sick or people who need care. The assistants do what they can but they are few and medically I can't say anything good as well as the lack of empathy from the management who only worries that I don't say anything and asks me questions such as what I want to achieve by reporting these things...
My grandmother is in this center. At first it cost us all, her and the whole family.
But all the professionals have gone out of their way to help her adapt and have helped us throughout the process.
They have fabulous facilities and they have installed a 360° projector which is amazing. My grandmother has returned to "walking" through her town without having to leave the center.
I only have thanks for all of them.
A disaster, a shame and pure NEGLIGENCE. Despite being diabetic and having a urinary infection, my grandmother was not treated properly. Since arriving at the center and during the 4 months she has been there, she has been hospitalized 2 times. Both times, she arrived at the hospital DEHYDRATED, with her genitals in raw flesh and most recently all her lower backs were injured without the family being aware of it. The hospital was worried. The treatment of the center is a shame. We took her to the hospital because my mother came to see her, like every day, and found her UNCONSCIOUS. The workers said he was SLEEPING. Was he sleeping? SHAME
We will never speak well of the place. So much money for a BAD deal.
