We've sent our kids for multiple years now. Something to note: if they fail to fill their ideal class size (10-15 kids), they will switch to a virtual/zoom class and/or cut the instruction time (from 32 hrs as published to 18 hrs, for a summer session). They will claim you're getting more valuable small group tutoring, but at the middle school level where there's little classroom management required (especially given this student body - these kids aren't the rabble-rouser sort!), the reality is that you're just getting a lot fewer hours of instruction.
We appreciated that they spoke to us about it individually and also that they called to alert us to it (rather than, say, just announcing the change via email). But we did not like that they made this change only after being paid in full, and that even after discussion, they did not offer any credit, discount, or opportunity for refund.
I have a pleasure to know and love RSM Winchester – from the teachers to the students to the challenging curriculum. Teachers integrates compassion into their teaching standards, emphasizes the importance of values, and builds leaders through each of their classes and lessons. Our experience at RSM has been exceptional. The teachers are truly invested in children’s education and their growth as learners. Adjustments are made as needed to meet the needs of the student. Small class sizes and leveled learning have enabled children to gain confidence in their learning abilities.
The administration is open minded and think outside the box to make RSM a successful educational experience for the students.
Teachers are passionate about seeing their students succeed. They are so great about sharing moments of pride they see within your child – their good behaviors and achievements; and they know the importance of getting the parents involved should an issue arise, and do it in a very respectful, approachable manner.
Great team – great school!
My son is attending Russian School of Math. This school with his methodology, cariculum and program help my son to improve his logical and critical thinking. All the teachers and principal are so nice and professional.
Hard to follow lessons and the homework easily piles up if your kid is in middle school or above and already has lots of homework. Your kid can still learn some things that public school won’t teach them for a few more years
For a second year my two kids are attending to RSM-Winchester and they both love it and enjoy it!
The strong math curriculum, the great teachers and the friendly staff make the math not just a subject. The math is adventure…there are always new things to discover and learn.
I am very happy and satisfied with the teachers at the school. They possess strong dedication and knowledge of mathematics; they teach with passion and love. RSM is very beneficial for anyone who is eager to learn, wants to be challenged and successful.
