Restaurante Las Pichanchas (San Cristóbal)

The food was good and worth the price. The show was enjoyable. You have to order their special drink (forgot what it is called)

I thought everything was generally good but didn't really think anything was great. Cochito Chiapaneco was probably our favorite dish. Didn't care for the cooked fish at all. Dancing and music was fun to see but probably not everyone's cup of tea.

This was recommended to us by our airbnb host - it was amazing!!! The food was really good and the dance show (which we were not expecting) was fantastic! The dancers were amazing dancers and very entertaining! Our waiter, Fidel, was friendly and attentive! Would highly recommend.

the food definitely is not worth the price. Considering the highish price the taste/quality of the meat just wasnt there, portion sizes were small (by Mexican standards) and I didn’t even get tortillas with the meal. I would not return - service and ambiance are good though.

Someone recommend this place while in San Cristobal so I gave it a try and I guess it just wasn’t what I expected. They do serve traditional food from the state of Chiapas and that’s what makes this place famous. They took a long time to take our drink order and they were not busy. The Only thing I can recommend is their guacamole and their signature drink called “pumpo”. Prices are reasonable.
