Although I have not attended classes at Red Sun Yoga Studio, I am thankful that a friend invited my sister and me to join her for the 2023 Red Sun Yoga retreat in Lucca, Italy. From the excellent pre-trip communications to the final departure from the villa it was a well-planned and enriching adventure for which Sarah Morgan, the studio owner, took care of all the details. In addition to twice daily yoga practice, we enjoyed a lovely villa with grounds for hiking, relaxing, sketching, reading, journaling and just enjoying nature. The yoga instructors, Sarah and Courtney, made students of all levels feel comfortable and safe in their practices. Delicious gourmet meals were prepared by an executive chef and her staff. The trip included meals and local wine, a bike tour of the town of Lucca and excursions to a local winery and the Cinque Terre. Many optional activities such as onsite massages and a cooking class were also available. The hosts fostered an atmosphere that allowed attendees to interact as much or as little as they liked. From lazy afternoons sitting around the table under the Tuscan sun with new friends to late night sharing of stories and secrets it was a remarkable experience. They might say what happens in Italy stays in Italy, but I know one thing that does not! That’s fine yoga experiences. This retreat has convinced me to become a client of Red Sun Yoga Studio. Looking forward to seeing you again!

This was the most amazing yoga class I’ve ever experienced. Violet (not sure of spelling) was our teacher.She was able to accommodate all levels of experience & ability in a truly mindful pace that used the breath in transitioning from pose to pose. The studio & the staff I met, Luz, were incredibly inviting. The setting was scrupulously clean, with all needed props beautifully arranged for students to use, including blocks, different sized bolsters, towels & even blankets for the resting pose at the end. I can’t wait to go back! Thank you for providing such a healing space.

I am grateful that I found Red Sun Yoga and the wonderful community of teachers and classmates. I am in the process moving to the area from out of state and have been searching for a new yoga home. From the minute I stepped into the studio I was greeted with warmth and kindness and the space is beautiful and serene. They offer a range of classes for every level and all of the teachers are excellent and bring a great deal of care and passion to their classes. I brought my husband to his first ever yoga class and he felt so comfortable and welcome that he will be returning too. Thank you Red Sun :)

I just arrived home from the 2023 Red Sun Yoga retreat in Lucca, Italy and it was absolutely incredible! I was not only a lifelong customer and yogi of Red Sun Yoga prior to this week but I will be attending every retreat Sarah hosts from here on out-if she allows me! Her dedication to her tribe and her attention to detail really made for a perfect seven days living the sweet life! The information and calendar were available to us approximately seven months prior to our trip so we knew exactly what to expect down to the day, hour and half hour. The excursions that were included in the retreat price were absolutely fantastic! We had wine tastings, walks, bike rides, day trips to other cities, etc. there were also many options to add to the week for an added expense… We had two yoga sessions a day that appealed to many different styles and all were optional so we could really shape our retreat into how we wanted/expected and there was plenty of free time to do whatever we pleased. I personally chose to relax and meet the other members… which I have to say was so amazing just because of all the different personalities, accomplishments and lifestyles of the ladies that came together and we really bonded over the seven days. Thanks to Sarah and Cortney at Red Sun Yoga for a fabulous October trip! I can’t wait for the next one!

The villa and grounds were beautiful and comfortable and offered many places to meditate, walk, and socialize. The program for the week offered an excellent balance of yoga and enjoying all that Lucca and neighboring areas had to offer. The food was delicious, creative and offered a variety of vegetarian dishes. Sarah and Courtney were incredible. They ensured that we were all comfortable, cared-for, and entertained. They handled any problems that arose with patience and thoughtfulness. I strongly recommend any retreat that Sarah and Red Sun Yoga hosts. It was a top- notch experience and I plan to attend a future retreat. Excellent value for an incredible week with supportive and lovely women in Italy.
