Red Lobster

An older RL, a lot of the original decor is gone. Ultimate Shrimp is here. At 4:30 for an early dinner I expected faster service. The cheddar bay biscuits did not get their butter brushed on top and were a bit dry. Needless to say I was not here for a biscuit. The grilled shrimp always a favorite, the coconut shrimp are like dessert. Not a big fan of the tequila lime, the lime is too strong.

This was my very first time at Red Lobster! It was such a fantastic experience and the food was so good! Claudia, was our server and she was great! Served us everything, perfect, with all the extras…and made it special, just for me. I can’t say, it wasn’t a perfect, date! Wow!!! Thank you, so much!! I absolutely loved it.. it was so cool…how she knew, I wanted to really have this experience, mean something…and I can’t express my gratitude, to this service…and restaurant, enough! Got the rest, we didn’t eat, to go, in a fancy way and even a little Red Lobster cracker! So much fun! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #ILoveRedLobsterTopekaKs

Mary was our delightful waitress. Wonderful seasonal drink recommendation of snowglobe sangria. Great drink and food.

*update* Great food and friendly staff! Idk what was going on that night of the previous review but the biscuits are great! (not overly salty lol) The Soy Salmon Bowl and the Bar Harbor are both amazing dishes I highly recommend either one! My all-time favorite is the Salmon New Orleans with a side of broccoli! Absolutely perfect match made in heaven! *update* The wife and I hadn't been in years so I decided to go there on our mini-date. Let me start by saying the lobster-loaded mashed potatoes, are amazing! Perfect rich buttery, creamy, hearty deliciousness! The shrimp crab Rangoon sounds weird but, yes, please! Coconut shrimp wasn't what I was expecting with the sauce being dippable and not cooked on, but this allowed for the shrimp to be crispy and still saucy! I regret that I somehow forgot pictures of the crab legs. Sweet and mild, throw on some of butter-sauce and the flavor gets a nice depth. Mac and Cheese, It's got an awesome flavor and sauce but I wish they'd use noodles that held the sauce, you end up having to dunk the noodles right before you eat because the majority of it settles to the bottom of the bowl. On the plus side, this means the shrimp on the bottom marinates in the deliciousness.😋 Only complaint? Why do they salt TF out of the butter bay biscuits!? Like seriously, there's enough salt in one biscuit to kill a horse! Luckily that's easy to brush off the outside so I don't die if sodium overdose! Overall great food and solid performance from the staff as well 5*!

Ordered curbside pickup at 4:30pm (hardly busy - restaurant was more than half empty). I used their service to confirm I had arrived, then sat outside waiting for more than 15 minutes after my order was supposed to be ready. I finally got fed up and went inside, and they brought me my food bag (now lukewarm) without any apology or explanation.
