We used Patti Thomas in the buying and selling of our home. When we purchased, she was awesome. Super easy experience and even gave us a very generous home warming gift. I wish I would’ve had the same experience in selling the house. It was the most hellish month of my life.
We took her advice on the listing price as we were inexperienced in the market. Days after we accepted an offer, very similar homes in our neighborhood we’re actually going for 20-40k more than we had accepted. We strongly feel she purposefully undersold our home to make a quick commission. She pushed us to accept repair requests that would’ve cost us around 2k even after we asked her to decline the requests. If you’re looking for a real estate agent to manipulate you and be pushy with you, by all means hire Patti. Even after the closing of the home and receiving back our deposit for a post possession rental agreement, she continued to relay irrelevant and hurtful information via text message. It was extremely unprofessional to give us negative, useless, emotional feedback from the buyers when all I needed to know was that my deposit was wired into our account.
Could not be more disappointed with Elly Johnson, Property Manager, who has defrauded us on two occasions while moving out of a rented condo. We are being billed for damage caused by a leaky dishwasher which was reported promptly as well as lots of miscellaneous cleaning that we did not agree to. When we threatened small claims court, she added damages to the move out walk through form which were NOT THERE when I signed. Unbelievable.
In my opinion—if I could put a negative number I would— In my opinion-RUN Save your money!!! Just met a realtor “ B” who showed me a home and communicated the online “ tenant application “ through Remax is “ easy” and only $40 per adult. Led me to believe the credit application was for Remax- not a specific house- in my opinion a total fraudulent misleading action. “B” indicated the credit report wasnt the only factor in decisions of owners. Again my opinion-ALL Lies do not rent from Remax Excalibur—-the realtor told me today since I am out of state that there in AZ —I dont own the report about me that I paid for- I looked up AZ law also wrong- consumer law does allow of copy of the report to be sent to the “ owner” I will contact the board of realtors for the fraudulant and misleading actions- good tenants have rights I will defend mine.
