A little on the costly side for poke, but you’re in the Midwest, what do you expect, the ocean could hardly be father away. Despite this, the food is good. Not Hawai’i fresh, but for here, it’s excellent. Would definitely come back when the poke craving hits.

first off, just want to mention that this is my absolute FAVORITE location for poke. the people’s energy here is amazing. my boyfriend and i always make our own bowls and they perfect it every. single. time. & plus, they never skimp!

Great poke bowls. The toppings available are many. One of the drawback could be that you have to create your own. Some may like that. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Was my first time in. The lady helping me suggested the volcano bowl. Good suggestion. Loved the spicy and the ingredients. My only critique would be that the rice wasn’t hot enough, that the salmon was almost frozen and one of the sauce had to much salt. I would go back to try something else but it wouldn’t be my first choice.

One of the quieter places on the Delmar Loop. The employee who made my bowl was quick but not enthusiastic at all. The PokeDoke bowl was ~$18 and had an okay portion size. Besides the fish that tasted like it had recently been frozen, everything else tasted fresh. Another thing I noted was that they were out of edamame when I was there.

So I have been many places in South East Asia and etc., whom try to perfect the Poke Bowl! Of course no one does it like Hawaii, however; PokeDoke has by hands down became the newest destination for Poke Bowls for me. Hands down the best I have had in the lower 48!! Great Job!!!
