Really cute spot for Poke! The food was fresh and service was great. There were lots of online orders picked up while we were eating inside. The regular size was generous, and my 13 year old enjoyed the kid size.
Great new restaurant on Madison's west side! Poke Bay is a home run! We had the large size of the Maui Bowl $13.99 and the large Build your own Poke Bowl $15.99. (See pics). Serving size is big enough for two. The add ins are unique, healthy and fresh. In my daughters bowl she chose spicy tuna × 2, and salmon as her 3 protein choices (these ones are raw, but she said they were super fresh and good!). Our Maui bowl had cooked shrimp & chicken and fresh mango, pineapple, avocado and a nice coconut sauce on top. My daughter really liked the spicy mayo and all the toppings and adding you can choose.
We will definitely be back!
Really good poke bowl! I had the spicy tuna and shrimp. Tuna is very tender, tasty, and seasoned well. Shrimp cooked perfect very tender. Eel sauce, chili sauce, and ginger sauce add so much flavor. I'll be back soon!
I went to Poke Bay on opening weekend and I ordered a large build your own bowl which comes with 3 proteins, 3 sides, and 3 mix-ins for 15.99 which is a pretty great deal.
The fish was fresh and baby octopus as a protein option was a nice surprise.
My only thing that I think could be improved is that the protein and sides aren't mixed in with the sauce prior to being put into the bowl, instead the sauce is just put over the top.
Overall very happy with the food
Super fresh, great selection of add-in ingredients, delicious sauces, and a GREAT price for both the quality & quantity of food! There are also vegetarian & non-raw protein options, but I would encourage poke newbies to try the raw tuna or salmon at least once!
