PickUp USA Fitness Jacksonville

My son is in the youth program and he loves it. He has improved so much and the trainers are awesome. The gym is very clean and my husband loves that he can workout while my son trains.

We had our son’s birthday party at PickUp USA Jax and everyone had such an amazing time! We had a private room with 2 tvs, sofas, counter space, sink, and 4 tables with chairs for the kids to eat pizza and cake or for the parents to use/relax while the kids played basketball on their own reserved court, with a designated referee. The facility was air-conditioned throughout and clean and the staff was very accommodating and helpful. We highly recommend this facility for events or birthdays or for anyone that just wants to play some pick-up basketball.

Compounding the issue was the director's evident lack of basketball fitness experience or updated knowledge. It became increasingly clear that his leadership was inadequate for effectively managing a basketball-oriented gym. This deficiency not only hindered our growth as employees but also compromised the quality of experience provided to the members. The absence of transparent communication and reasonable expectations further contributed to the negative atmosphere. Instead of fostering a supportive environment, the director's actions contradicted his initial assurances, leaving me feeling deceived, undervalued, and disenchanted with the overall work environment. Despite these disappointments, I want to emphasize that my belief in the mission and vision of Pickup USA Fitness remains intact. The company's mission to deliver a better way to play basketball resonates with me on a personal level, and I genuinely believe in its potential to create a positive impact.Unfortunately, my experience at the Jacksonville location did not align with the overarching vision of the company. It is my hope that this review serves as constructive feedback, urging the management to reflect upon their practices and strive for professionalism, integrity, and improved employee support. I share this story not only to express my own experience but also to inform potential employees about the challenges that may exist within the Jacksonville location. I encourage the company to address these issues promptly, as there is immense potential for Pickup USA Fitness to fulfill its mission and provide a truly exceptional basketball fitness experience.
