Pescadero Palace

The happy face flag flying above this place says it all in a nutshell. You will leave with a smile on your face. You may pay less money and get a fancier place inland, but you will never beat this location for the price. It’s literally right on San Pedrito beach with the surf break right out front. The swell height was under 1 meter for our stay, so the kids could swim while we watched the wales cruise by at sunset. If the surf was up (which would be great for surfers) the kids would have to swim in the pool. We were there with a party of 8. We had the whole east side of the building. It really was a perfect set up with the 4 kids. We gave them the main floor and had the top floor and the bottom for the adults. There was another couple in the Penthouse but we never felt like we were in each others way. The pool was fantastic. Now you may think, what would I need a hot tub for in Mexico? But we found ourselves in it every day. It cools off in the evening, and after a swim in the ocean at sunset, it hits the spot. If you are a surfer, after a morning session it would be dynamite. A huge touch to the place is the beach amenities. Folding beach chairs, umbrellas, soft top surf board and boogie boards. If you’re used to VRBO’s or ABNB, lots of times places don’t have this. And it’s a real pain. It’s not like you can pack it. We really appreciated that. Probably the best part of it all was the host. Robert was always available, whether it was to help order a pizza delivery, or for foil to cook our fish on the BBQ. He was there to help. He respects your privacy and leaves you to yourselves, but is just a text away. If you are looking for a great place to stay on the Baja, and want to be a bit removed from the hustle and bustle of the big city, this is your place. Thanks Robert, we will be back.
