By far the best restaurant experience I’ve had in 2023! Lauren the manager is kind and very passionate about the level of care in the dining experience at parlour! Chef Brandon food is delicious in every bite! I highly recommend the shrimp and grits , crawfish Mac n cheese any those biscuits are fire! Wish I could taste the entire menu I definitely will return next time I’m in DC

Beautiful atmosphere at the downstairs bar and upstairs rooftop alike. The service was amazing at the bar (they were not busy at all), but much slower at the rooftop. The cocktails were all top notch, and they have a premium range of liquors. The oysters are a must try, they offer a mixed variety but don’t seem to give you a choice. The deviled eggs appetizer I’d their specialty and a must try. They do come with bacon but they ask you if you’re fine with it.

We went for an extremely late lunch or early dinner. However you want to look at it, we were the 1st guest to be seated upstairs. It was a bit breezy when we arrived upstairs, but everyone was so kind and adjusted the thermostat as well as bringing hot tea for us to drink. The restaurant is so cute, and the atmosphere is great for taking some adorable photos. The bartender was amazing and did such a wonderful job recreating a drink I had while on vacation in June. He even put his twist on it and improvised bc he didn't have all the ingredients. We started with crab soup and jambalaya. I honestly felt like both were amazing and couldn't decide, which I liked more. The manager came over and introduced himself and was very kind, which added to the dining experience. We had the crab dip, cheese plate, and fried lobster tail for appetizers. I felt like the crab dip was missing something, but I will say that I have had worse and would still order it again. The friend lobster wasn't the texture that I was hoping for (the breading threw me off), but it wasn't bad, and my friend who was dining with me actually really enjoyed it. Lastly, the charcuterie board; I'm not a fan, and I love and live for cheese. For entrees, we ordered the blackened bronzino and the main lobster roll. Both were delicious. All in all, I would go back and will probably order the king crab and try a few other dishes. I would most definitely say give them a try. Such a fabulous spot with amazing service.

There are some places that just stick out and are special, this is one of them. I write this review with gross trepidation, I hope that this little slice of heaven doesn't lose its glimmer. From the time that I entered, until the time that I left, I was thoroughly impressed with the service and food. There was not one complaint, only accolades. It makes absolutely no sense why Chef Brandon Sumblim is not at least a contender for the James Beard/Rammy's/Michelin Star!!! Presentation, preparation, and perfection have all been mastered from appetizers to dessert. I love eating out, fine dining to holes in the wall & this experience did not disappoint. Now I'm trusting you all with this review, be stingy, be picky, be bougie and keep this upscale fine dining experience what it is. Don't share willy nilly with all of your friends to look cool or hip, maintain our secret and hold back for those that love a $100+ bill, and feel like they've received a deal because the food, ambiance, and service are top tier.

Hotel restaurants are hit or miss, and this one is a definite miss. First of all, happy hour is not available for anyone seated at a table instead of the bar. First time in my life that I've encountered a rule like this. If you want to take advantage but there are no seats left, you're SOL. It seems like they don't hire enough servers to run a full restaurant, because the bartender came by and apologized for the wait, and inevitable future wait, given that I was the only table. He probably didn't mean to sound unwelcoming, but how do you respond to that? Is it so strange to eat dinner at 6pm? The salmon was fine, nothing to write home about, seriously not worth $40. Barely any service the whole meal. The restaurant interior is charming, but that's about it. There are many other restaurants at this price point.
