I have been at Orange Theory Bear since July 2020 and I LOVE it! I am editing this review (April 2021) beacuse of how amazing this studio is! The coaches really care and help you during each class. I love how they are always cheering us on and helping us to achieve our best. They instruct you on the correct/safe way to do different exercises and take the time to help you. The Bear location is huge, which is great for when you have to switch stations. Everything is always super clean and I feel very comfortable going especially during the current climate. Each workout is challenging so you are constantly working to make yourself stronger, and build endurance. When I first began I could barely power walk a mile, now I jog/run a mile during each class and I was just able to complete my first 5 mile race! If you are looking for a positive environment to workout, where you are challenged and taught what to do this is the perfect place for you!

Just finished my 10th class. Everyone has been so warm and welcoming. I’m able to jump right in and have my hour of exercise and stay focused. The atmosphere is very upbeat and positive!

The Bear OTF instructors and staff are awesome. They are friendly, professional, thoroughly prepared, accommodating to members needs and always there to answer questions and/or give sincere feedback boosting overall workouts. The gym is extremely clean and well maintained. I enjoy my experience here at the Bear location.

I absolutely love the staff at the site - so nothing to do with my overall rating. I wish you could separate out the two. They’ve been very helpful and always looking to encourage you to do your best during the workout. However, the technology, app, and cancellation policy is not as it should be. The workouts don’t fit with my overall health challenges and the program is pretty set so modifications are not significant enough to continue on. When I went to cancel classes via the app - I’ve gotten charged $12 for everyone I cancelled. Again the staff was great at getting things straightened out to the extent they could, although the underlying problem still remains making it impossible to manage through the app. The 30day cancellation Policy actually ends up being a 60day policy unless you really get lucky which is super confusing when you try to break it down. So I signed up on day 1 to larger plan - realized that was too optimistic and reverted to the lower plan. To make life easier we didn’t cancel anything - we just submitted the revised contract same day. Simple and per their instructions; no negative impact to me. However, that doesn’t qualify as a 30day cancellation per the contract you sign. I have to pay another month of the elevated rate until it can drop down and then it appears another month before I can cancel completely. And of course to value my dollar, I should keep doing the classes till I am done, but not sure that’ll be possible physically, plus the added aggravation of being ‘trapped’ in the cancellation process. Be very careful when you sign up, as getting out of the contract is not simply 30 day notice and be sure to double check scheduling with studio the first few times to make sure app and studio are in sync.
