It is not an urgent care! We walked in at 6:00 to an empty waiting room and were told we had to have an appointment to be seen and there were no appointments left for the day!
Edit:
When we were seen the next day they collected co-pay when our deductible was already met and sent our prescription to the wrong pharmacy after confirming the pharmacy twice. When I looked at her urinalysis results I realized they had given her a pregnancy test! She came in with typical UTI symptoms. She gets UTI’s and has been hospitalized for a kidney infection. I’m unsure when pregnancy symptoms started being burning with urination, but this was absurd. Skip this place. It’s terrible.
It is supposed to be urgent care but you have to make an appointment. It is contradictory. I walked in during their open hours and was told to make an appointment and come back in the morning. No one was waiting. No one was receiving care. It would’ve taken 15 minutes if they actually saw my daughter. It is 5 am and I’m waiting on a 9 o’clock appointment. It takes the urgency out of urgent care when people are turned around and told to come back the next day for a scheduled appointment.
Updated*****
I have read several reviews while sitting here. Let me honest about several things.
The nurse nor APRN are personable. I really love great bed side manners when receiving care. It makes inconveniences seem more tolerable.
The advertising of 55 minutes is a bit inaccurate but we received medical attention.
The self pay is $200 for any services and we were told if things get worse to go to the ER. Seems that they aren’t confident in the services that they are providing. I am 100% hoping to skip the ER.
There was nasty tissue in the room that we were placed in. Too much going around to leave used tissue in rooms. People in the medical field have to pay attention, someone life literally depends on your assessments.
Summary: Same care day if appointment is made, no personable caregiver. $200-self pay. Rooms are not cleaned from person to person.
First time visitor today at this clinic due to a sinus infection. Here were the results:
1.) Appointment made online prior to arrival for 12:30. Brought back by nurse fairly quickly (nobody else in waiting room). Took a nose swab and then brought me to doctor’s office where I sat until 1:20.
Not express.
2.) Prescribed antibiotic for sinus infection that the NP assured me “would be at the pharmacy because she only prescribes drugs that are common and work”. Pharmacy won’t have antibiotic until the next day at 4 PM. Medexpress couldn’t check whether or not this drug would be available for a patient, despite assuring the patient that it would?
Does that sound like a provider who provides?
3.) Didn’t receive flu shot I asked for. Doctor saw me for no more than 3 minutes.
So, in summary, not express and not really med either. The equivalent would be showing up to a fast food place, waiting 50 minutes for your food, returning home to open the bag and find it empty. I guess you could eat the bag, or accept it as a total loss.
Do better.
Got me right in with very little wait. Everyone was nice and helpful. Were extra helpful for me as my insurance card was being a pain. The facilities were clean and everything appeared organized and in order. Greatly appreciate the care and help.
Went to this location TWICE in hopes of getting a pre-employment drug screen. First time, I was told by receptionist that, “no staff was available for a urine drug test and to come back tomorrow”. As a nurse, this sounded bogus to me. However, I tried to be understanding EVEN though I had a cut off time for my test. My job understood and extended. I go in today (which is next day) and am declined AGAIN, being told that there are only a “certain number of slots” for drug screens. I was NOT advised by receptionist the night before that I would need an appointment for this. They literally turned me away which again put me past my second time cut off for my drug test.
This being said, I could be denied my new job because of this. I am aware that a UDS is a quick and easy test which should take no time at all. I am extremely disappointed and will not be returning here. Nor do I recommend using them for a drug screen.
