Mack's Fish Camp - Gladesmen Airboat Tours

I found Macks fish camp in March of 2023. As of December 2023, I have been there 6 times. I take everyone who visits me out to Macks to see the cats, chickens, dogs, peacocks, hogs and wildlife that roam around the camp, and I rent a private tour of the everglades by airboat. Marshal, the owner, is always very professional and polite. I have had the pleasure of having Hal, Marshall's dad, be my guide on my first trip and Cody on all my other trips. These guys are great. Very knowledgeable about the glades.

I grew up in South Florida going to the everglades a lot. As much as I know about it I learned things I never knew from Capt. Cody. A true gladesman. I got my wife a sunset tour for her bday. Had an amazing time. Truly a great experience. Not one of the touristy airboat tours you get at other places in there 16 passenger boats. Very professional amd very knowledgeable about things. Will definitely be doing another excursion in the spring. Can't speak highly enough about this establishment. It's not even a close choice between this airboat tour and any of the other ones. If I could give them more stars I would. Very accommodating from the time I contacted them until the very end. Took our girls with us (13 and 6) they loved it as well even in the crisp 60 degree weather we had.

We had a great trip on the air boat, Cody our skipper was very knowledgeable about the animals and plant life in the water. We had some great views of the alligators and really enjoyed the boat trip. A recommended activity to do whilst in the area.

Mack was a great tour guide! Very educated with the land. Saw alligator nest and holes but with the hurricane heading up, the gators were not out except one. We definitely will do this again! Thank you for a great adventure and history lesson!

Hal was absolutely fantastic. Gave us a great tour and was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the plant life. We even got to take a picture of a rare spider lily. Saw a few gators and he explained the nesting habits and how the slews worked. Took us over to a small island where he told us about the history of the area. This was our first airboat tour and we took the private sunset tour and if you have never taken one this is the one to do. When we were out in the middle of the glades and Hal was explaining the area and the quietness and surrounding grass made it feel surreal. I highly recommend you ask for Hal if you tour. You will not be disappointed.
