Koa Yoga & Wellness Studio

I went to a Yin yoga class and there were a ton of downward dog poses. They don't belong in a Yin yoga class. I've attended many Yin yoga classes and never had to do those poses; that's what I was looking to avoid.

I drove 30 min to join a class ,never open the studio ,nobody told me was moved . Very dissapointed

The Koa Yoga in Plant City FL is a rare treasure. Under new owner Katie Wilkolaski the class time offerings are being expanded and offered in a wider variety of styles. The studio feels calm, peaceful and welcomes all people of every ability and practice level. This studio is for real people. I have chronic, incurable health problems. I have attended a wide variety of classes dependent upon my abilities at any given time. I have never felt judged or embarrassed when I have had to rest while the other members move on in the session. The instructors and members encourage each individual to practice to their own abilities at all times. No competitions here. The instructors are all different and all wonderful in various ways. The other members are friendly and helpful. If you have ever hesitated to try yoga I would encourage you to wait no more. Get to Koa Yoga in Plant City FL and see for yourself. Exercise is medicine. This yoga studio is such a blessing to have in Plant City. The owner, Imani, is super involved and so gracious and sweet.. The studio is so open to beginners and yogis further along in their practice. All the teachers are super adaptable and make you feel totally comfortable. If you were to have any issue though Imani really listens and will actually do something about it, she cares for all of her members! Drop in and check out a class, this place is a hidden gem!
