As a parent deeply invested in my child’s wellbeing, I prioritize aspects such as food quality, safety, cleanliness, nurturing teachers, and a secure environment. Kiddie Academy impeccably delivers on all fronts, offering a comprehensive and outstanding experience. The culinary offerings stand out for their emphasis on health and freshness. With a menu centered around pure vegetarian, freshly cooked meals, my child’s health has noticeably improved. The thoughtful consideration for allergies and preferences, along with the inclusion of nutritious elements like fresh vegetables, fruits, main courses, and milk, has contributed to my child’s holistic growth—both physically and mentally. The commitment to cleanliness is evident through the meticulous daily sanitization of classrooms and toys using bleach. This proactive approach to germ prevention ensures a pristine and safe atmosphere for the children. The teachers’ proactive efforts in keeping the children engaged while maintaining an incident-free environment is truly commendable. Remarkably, throughout the past year, there have been no incident reports for my child , a testament to their dedication to ensuring a safe and secure space. The empathetic and skilled teachers, thoughtfully selected by the management, play a pivotal role in fostering a positive learning environment for the children. The administrative team’s warm and welcoming interactions with the children foster a sense of familiarity and security, essential for young minds to thrive. Kiddie Academy encompasses everything a parent seeks in a preschool. I’m genuinely grateful for the holistic and enriching experience they provide to my child.

The admin and staff are all wonderful. They welcome our family in and make our daughter feel comfortable and excited to go to school! The administration is very responsive and helpful. They listen and they care. Our daughter's teachers have been the best! Miss Taylor and Miss Autumn really put a lot of effort in with the children and you can tell that they enjoy their time with them. My husband and I would definitely recommend Kiddie Academy of Urbana!

If you’re looking for ineffective, inefficient, and inadequate “teachers” with zero regard for basic hygiene then look no further than Kiddie Academy of Urbana! At Kiddie Academy it’s plainly obvious that daycare employers are scraping the bottom of the barrel for employees. The saving grace for this daycare are the cameras in the classrooms, but don’t be fooled, you should watch them as much as possible. The “teachers” that don’t have children of their own are the absolute worst. Bottom line: don’t send your child here until he/she is able to walk and talk.

Our daughter has only been with Kiddie Academy for a short time, but we absolutely adore their program. The teachers are wonderful, and send numerous pictures daily. We’re able to check-in on her daily by using the daycare cameras, and the kiddos are constantly busy. The teachers appear to be engaging with the kids on a regular basis, and offer comfort frequently. The tuition rate is high, but justifiable. The weekly menu is unique, and we like how their selections expose our daughter to various types of food! Update as of May 12, 2021: Our family is still with Kiddie Academy! Since our last review we’ve enrolled our two older boys with a total of three kids attending. Each of our children enjoy going every morning and love their teachers. Our middle son is typically apprehensive about meeting new people, but his first teacher, Ms. Tanya, won him over! He always runs to give her a hug. Our oldest son has had the opportunity to make friends, and his teacher does very well teaching/ enforcing boundaries, manners, and academics. Our daughter is still doing well in her class! I can tell that they still engage with her frequently. She comes home singing numerous songs, is beginning to recognize shapes/letters, and has improved greatly with her fine/gross motor skills.

The teachers are so very kind and love the kids. You can see why they’re in the profession they’re in. They’re open about the children’s strengths and what they need to work on. The instructors work closely with parents to set a plan for success, may it be something such as working on sharing or potty training. Their food they make is phenomenal - love they incorporate all the different foods for kids to try - and healthy. Our child will scrape the plate clean no matter what they serve; can’t say the same thing at home - we clearly need to take some cooking lessons with Khalida to improve our skills. Overall, we are so happy we joined to the KAU family.
