Kiddie Academy of North Albuquerque

Our family loves KA. As parents, we appreciate the safe open classroom environments. The staff is kind and patient. Our youngest toddler has grown and flourished through her time at the academy. Our oldest toddler attended as a little one and was welcomed back as a 5 year old for summer care. She loves how the staff remembers her and says hello each time we drop off her sister. There is a special connection between the staff and children, which builds trust and comfort.

Had a tour for my oldest son who is 4, and the environment is so friendly and welcoming. All the staff is very nice and does over the top for your child. They were fast to get my son enrolled and they have the best teachers ever! If your all about your child's safety this is the place for you! They have fingerprint security to enter the school. You can also watch your child online through their school cameras. They send you a picture everyday of your child and what their activities of the day are. Overall the place is the best you can find for child care/school! Highly recommended!!

This is an amazing school. The staff is so friendly, and are very experienced. My son was nervous on the first day but loved it in no time. They have a great schedule and an awesome administrative staff. The school is clean, there are lots of toys, and they have great educational routines to keep the kids engaged throughout the day.

Sucks to feel so poorly about my child’s daycare. But finding childcare can be exhausting process, so want to share the information. My biggest complaint, management. They were kind the day I went for a tour. And ever since every encounter they make you feel like such a bother, even when they help you, it’s extremely passive aggressive. They never return your call or follow through, you have to ask them multiple times. The teachers for the infant room have been good, is the reason I’ve stayed. Besides holidays, they also closed for a lot of teacher training days, just an fyi. They will send him your child’s for anything, no discussion. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate having a strict sick policy as everyone doesn’t want their child to get sick. But it’s over kill. I am told daily that my child had diarrhea, or feels warm, or had a cough, and then when she gets home somehow it’s never the case. She has actually gotten sick a couple times that’s to be expected and starting any daycare, that’s not specific to here. So just weigh that into your decision, between teacher days, and your child being sent home this will not be reliable daycare. And you pay the same every week regardless of holidays, teacher days, or sick days. Two weeks of the year you’re allowed to use a vacation week but that only gives see you half off for that week. I have had weeks where I didn’t use the daycare once because she was sick and I paid the same amount. That could be the same at a lot of daycares, but it is worth noting. There are some pros, as mentioned, I’ve mostly really enjoyed her teachers, my daughter likes them. But between the rude management and it not being reliable I can’t leave a good review. Good luck! Childcare options can be so emotional.

Teachers are fantastic! We were reluctant to enroll our children in a program, but staying home with them was no longer an option. Kiddie Academy takes the best care of our children! The kids look forward to going each day, and they talk about their teachers all the time. They’ve formed special bonds with the staff there, which is evident at drop off and pick up. We get photo updates each day of the kids’ activities & are impressed with their development
