A really nice house, that is extremely well preserved, with a lot of the original furniture. And, the furniture is great. The tour guide was very well informed and told me about the house, the times in which it was built, the family that built and owned it, and the furniture. You have full access to the house, with the rooms not being roped off as is the case in a lot of the historical houses. The tour was relaxed and not rushed at all. I would highly recommend, and the price of $5 is more than well worth it.
Place was very nice and young man giving tours was nice and knowledgeable of the house and history. House however had no power and was hard to see things good and get good pictures.
We enjoyed an informative tour of the old mansion. It's been lovingly maintained. The tour guide had some great bits of info and was very open to questions about the house, the family that lived there, and the property. The sunny sewing room was my favorite. The tours were very reasonably priced as well. It's a great add on if you're visiting other historic sites and state parks in the area, of which there are surprising number.

Stopped in for a visit about 10:45 and nobody was home. Still, nice home and guessing tour would be educational
