Hotel Mesón de los Remedios

We really enjoyed this peaceful hotel for our stay: a nice, clean, simple hotel, with very kind and helpful personnel. Basic breakfast with a glass of orange juice, fruits & granola (and yogurt) and as much coffee as you want (need?) is included. We did bough and bring in our bread from a nearby bakery, no problem. They also have more complete, a la carte, breakfast options. We stayed in the master suite with 2 floors, 2 beds (1 king, 1 queen) and a sofa bed. We had 1 1/2 bathrooms, 2 TVs, room was cleaned every day. Location is great, you are 5 minutes walking distance from the main plaza with all Morelia’s restaurants and activities. You can park in front for loading or unloading, and parking is included, located at 100 yards (be aware of restricted access though). Hot water with good pressure, checkout at noon. Tour buses pass and pick you up just at the door! We really recommend this family friendly hotel for your next stay.

This place is a hidden gem. My wife and I have traveled the U.S., Mexico, and Europe, and this small hotel was fantastic. The location is about a 5 minute, safe, walk from the main city historic center. We were a group of family group of four. Our room consisted of two floors. First floor had a half bath, queen bed and sofa sleeper. The top floor had a full bath and king size bed. This set-up was such a pleasant surprise. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. I must repeat, they were clean. Kudos 👏 to the staff and management. The continental breakfast, included with the stay, was excellent. It consisted of juice, coffee, toast, and fruit. Plenty to get you started for your daily plans. Of course, they also had a full breakfast of your choice for a small additional cost. We loved the hotel and staff. We had a great time. I almost forgot, they do include free parking right around the corner from the hotel.

Great service, they have coffee, toast and fruit for breakfast free of charge. But you can also order a la carte. It's walking distance to Centro De Morelia.

The hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. My room was very comfortable and clean. The courtyard where breakfast was served is lovely. It has a great location. I found it to be more than I was expecting for the price.
