In short: Beyond expectations! First, the location and accommodations are perfect. It’s like staying at your own home! Second, Mike and carol are phenomenal owners. They take care of you from check in to check out. Meals were homemade everyday. Third, rooms are clean and have everything you’ll need. You’ll be happy to stay here.

Awesome hospitality and great food. Mike and Carol are great hosts. Don’t hesitate to book when you visit Homer. Their homemade salmon was awesome as was their other meals.

Wonderful experience in a picturesque setting! I was visiting Homer last July as a base for a remote research trip and did not rent a car in Homer. Carol and Mike picked me up at the airport and drove me around to pick up supplies at the hardware store and grocery store and got me to my dock very early one morning to catch my water taxi. They offered these rides for a very reasonable fee, considering how much time it took them to shuttle me around. They were very conscientious of my safety and comfort, as they even lent me a can of bear spray to take camping and helped me make cookies for my research crew! They are very interesting people to talk to and make excellent, authentic Chinese food. I also really enjoyed the view from their home. I saw sandhill cranes with a chick and a cow moose with her calf, all from the back porch! They also have a spectacular view of the mountains at sunset. I will add these photos to my review soon.

Stayed there while fishing for halibut. Very accommodating and excellent dinners! Awesome view and quiet location for some serenity.
