Home Instead

I have been working at Homeinstead as a part-time employee for quite some time now(1+yrs), and if it weren't for the my clients I serve, I would have left a long time ago. I am simply stating what I know to believe and seen from homeinstead and clients. I did not choose to provide my real name I do not wish to disclose any of my information for the sake of my job and clients. One of the biggest issues at Homeinstead is the lack of transparency and communication. In addition to the lack of transparency and communication, the high turnover rates among both CAREGIVERS and MANAGEMENT have also been a cause for concern. In the finance department, management raises concerns. This inconsistency has greatly affected the overall quality of care being provided, as well as the morale of the employees. Hopefully Homeinstead can create a more stable and reliable care environment for both their CLIENTS and STAFF. To truly live up to their claims of offering top-notch services for those in need of care, Homeinstead must address these underlying issues.

The staff we've met from Home Instead have all been great people. We currently have ongoing companion care for our mother... she gets visits from two caregivers who are very kind and patient with her. Mom really enjoys the time with them, and we appreciate the professional yet friendly service they bring.

Jason & Dawn of Home Instead Andover and Waite Park are phenomenal owners/employer. I have worked here for nearly 2 months and everyone here is wonderful to work with and all team players. Everyone has the clients and caregivers as the top priority for quality and safe care. I am honored to be a part of this team!

We had excellent caregivers who really worked at getting to know my wife , who was then in the middle stages of Alzheimer's. They were good at keeping her company and involving her as they did light housekeeping for us. I was able to take care of errands and have some time to myself--a welcome and needed respite from care-giving.

Our family has been a Home Instead client for about 5 years now, first for their Edina MN office and the last 3 yrs Andover/St Cloud. At first we just used transportation, but when my folks sold their home and moved to a senior care facility we needed much more. We use Home Instead now 4 days a week for a variety of home assist projects from cleaning, meal prep, transport, shopping and general assistance. My folks are past 95 and still able to manage Independent Living. Much of the credit for their continued independence goes to the good care givers from Home Instead. We are most appreciative and would recommend to others.
