I have worked in home health for many years and never worked for a company as great as this one. I have been with Patti for almost 4 years and as a matter of fact i quit doing this kind of work for a while because i hated people just being a number in a computer and that is definitely the case with this company. Give home helpers a chance and you wont be disappointed!!!
Home Helpers is a nice place to work for. I never had any issues. I would recommend Home Helpers to my friends and family. Patti is helpful and so kind. Anyone would be lucky to have her as a boss.
One thing I learned working for this company, is that when they say they've gone through assistants... There's a reason why.
This is a shady company, who does not keep track of their records, talks poorly about their clients, and is mainly after the money.
I would suggest anywhere but here for your special needed care.
This is a horrible place to either receive services through or work for. I was offered employment by the "owner" she asked me to quit my other job to work for her. I told her the only way I would do that is if i got the same amout of hours an easy 25 hours a week. She promised that would happen. I have worked for her for 3 months now and have yet to see these hours at most i got 15 hours a week and that lasted for 2 weeks. So when i had to go get another job to support my 3 children she cut me down to 2 hours a week. She doesnt care about the clients and their well being. One had been living in a mold infested home for quite some time. I brought this to her attention and she proceeded to tell me it is my responsibility to contact the landlord. Which afterwards I found out that was not true. She lets people "go" then turns around and refuses to pay them. I can not cash my last pay period check from her because of the way it is printed out no one will accept it. I contacted her and her solution is well you should just do direct deposit. That is not a requirement so I will not do that. She refuses to print out a different check. That all happened over this last weekend, then yesterday I receive a letter stating that she has terminated employment as of the 29th of October it is now the 1st of November and she is refusing my last check.
People beware of this company before you do any business with her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
