Griswold Home Care for Southeast Houston

We have had services with Griswold for my dad for about 6 months now his care is scheduled through the VA and Tori, our scheduler, and she does a great job at coordinating his care and keeping in contact with the VA about any necessary changes. I personally have been a caregiver for 6 years with Grisworld. and I am now on the client side of things with managing my dad’s care. I can generally say that Griswold does great job taking care of both the clients and caregivers. It is a pleasure to work with them and have them be able to provide quality care for my dad. Four years ago, an unexpected illness left me bed and wheelchair bound. Since then, my husband, my hero, has been my constant caregiver with very few breaks. So a lot of anxiety was created when he needed to make an overnight trip. My occupational therapist recommended Griswold Home Care, saying she had heard good things about them. Our initial visit with Tami Nelson left us feeling very confident. Ms. Nelson is a registered nurse and completely understood the care I need. We very much appreciated her candor and professionalism! My first Griswold caregiver was Ms. Elma. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ms. Elma! The transition between Ms. Elma and my husband was seamless! I later teased my husband that Ms. Elma even wrapped a napkin around my drink bottle to keep the condensation off my bed table. Little details can be so important and much appreciated! My second caregiver was Ms. Sandra. Just like Ms. Elma, Ms. Sandra assured me that she was here to take care of anything I needed. Ms. Sandra was very friendly and eager to learn my routine. We are grateful for the care I received while my husband was away and for Priscilla’s efforts to find just the right caregivers. Thank you, Griswold Home Care!

When we made the decision to care for my wife at home rather than a nursing home, I sought out the best Home Care company and Griswold was recommended. Care Givers Sonia, Tiffany, Lu, and Marie were what I called our 'A' Team and provided outstanding care 24/7 for a year for. When I would tell my wife who was coming on next shift a big smile would come on her face. There were times when these ladies put our needs above their own and their famlies. They became honorary members of our family. My wife passed away last week, but I will forever be grateful for the wonderful care she received from the ladies at Griswold.

Had a great experience using Griswold to take care of our 98-year-old mother for a week while we were out camping. We were especially pleased with how Helen engaged with Mom from the very beginning, keeping her occupied and providing twice daily updates to us. Will definitely use Griswold and Helen again in the future.

The care givers and office staff have been great. Helen, Nadia, Angie, Peggy and Sonia have been real helpful to dad and have helped facilitate his recovery. Priscilla came out and helped me find my way around the website and brought gifts for Thanksgiving.
