Go Fly Maui, LLC

My wife and I had an incredible time with Go Fly Maui. This is the only doors off helicopter experience available in Maui (at least as of Jan 2023) that will allow you to bring more than just a phone on board. I was able to bring my camera and Insta360 camera without issue. Both Nick and Magen were incredibly professional and personable! We were able to get some incredible shots during our flight and had a great time too. Because you fly in a smaller helicopter here (with only 4 seats total including the pilot's seat), you don't need to fight for window seats - every seat is going to get you a completely clean view out the side of the helicopter. The entire experience is one on one with Nick (the pilot). We happened to bump into other pilots around the airfield and everyone we ran into went on about how skilled Nick is as a pilot and how he's just an all around great guy -  all of which is absolutely true. Nick gave us some great tips on other spots to hit on the island and really made the whole thing such a fun experience. Truly a once in a lifetime experience if you're visiting Maui - we couldn't get the smiles off our faces for days! If you're humming and hawing about whether or not you want to do a helicopter tour, or which one to do, I'd say hum and haw no further - get in touch with Go Fly Maui and book in with them today. These guys feel like a bit of a hidden gem right now on Maui so get in now while you can before you need to book a year in advance!

I've been lucky to have flown with them a few times now on the photo flight and just recently the discovery flight! Being a photographer and living on Maui, it's an awesome perspective to see the island for the air! I'm enamored with all the gorgeous places that we were able to see from sea cliff waterfalls, shipwrecks, whales, and manta rays! The owners, Nick and Magen, are friendly and make the whole experience a lot of fun! I've had a few friends who had never been on a helicopter and were a little nervous but pilot Nick put them at ease with his knowledge and witty sense of humor. Last week, I did the discovery flight and it was incredible! We started off with an intro of all the controls and safety logistics and then flew for 30 min. Hands down, one of the coolest experiences! I can't recommend this enough--if you even have an inkling of wanting to fly, sign up! You won't regret it. You might even want to get your pilot's license after.

I recently went on one of the discovery flights with the owner Nick and had THE BEST time! Nick patiently and confidently explained the helicopter controls as well as important safety points and although I was nervous before getting on the helicopter, I didn’t feel scared at all after meeting Nick. The views from the helicopter were simply stunning and photos and video do not do it justice. Most of the flight felt like a dream as we soared effortlessly through jagged green valleys and explored seemingly never ending waterfalls. Nick’s confident but hilarious demeanor and commentary put me at ease before and during the flight. He also went out of his way to equip me with anti nausea medicine beforehand which made all the difference for someone who usually suffers from motion sickness. Overall this was an AMAZING experience and I can’t wait to get back up in the air again!

Go fly Maui provided the most spectacular flight training experience with unbelievable and breathtaking views. I couldn’t believe how customisable my flight was. Nick allowed me to choose the route and explore what I wanted, of course to within reason. As such I got to check out some of the most stunning waterfalls, ridges and cliffs on Molokai. Nick was highly professional and provided A+ training and flexibility. Definitely the best flight in 90 minutes I’ve done in my helicopter pilot career and most recommended helicopter flying on Maui.

Nick and Magen Moran run a top notch helicopter service in Maui. I have been on several other helicopter operators on Maui and the big island and none compare to Go Fly Maui. I booked a 1 1/2 hour flight to catch Kai Lenny, Tyler Laronde and friends surfing Pe'ahi (Jaws) on December 31st amazingly big break. Nick kept Daniel Sullivan and myself in perfect position to get amazing shots. If you are on Maui then do yourself a favor and book a flight. It will be the most amazing event you will experience. I also want to say as a commercial rated pilot myself, I was very impressed with Nick's safety and skills. I will be up again with Go Fly Maui very soon.
