We had lunch here on Saturday and it was one of the best meals we have had in a very long time.
We are English speakers living in Spain and were bowled over when the waitress started speaking English to us. We found out her name is Angie and that she emigrated from the Dominican Republic with her Parents when she was 7 years old.
Angie's service was incredibly friendly and she advised us on which items on the menu were very good. It turned out the food was as delicious as Angie said it would be but I am sure it was all the more so due to her ready smile and superb service.
10/10 for the great service and delicious food!
Everything was delicious but I would highly recommend not ordering the garlic bread because it may give you a retching feeing and will make you have to go to the bathroom to potentially throw up your magnificent meal. The pizza is very good, especially the jamón on the pizza. It was great how we were able to order garlic bread without the garlic. The service was outstanding even though the group I was eating with including myself was very picky. I would defina recommend this restaurant if you are feeling Italian #italy 🍕🍝
Starting from the fact that, after all, it is a food chain, it has surprised me both for better and for worse. The good thing, the food was undoubtedly very good, both the pasta and the starter, the pizza: the dough left a little to be desired and the barbecue sauce of this sweet one did not, the following. But basically it was all good.
The bad, the service. Unfortunately when you enter the premises and see that it is practically empty and you see a lot of dirty tables, not cleaned up, the first thing you think is that they were full. Well, the reason is not neglect because when they left the same ones and some more were there. Add to this the slowness of looking at the mobile not one but the two waitresses who were in the service. And let's not talk about adding what seemed to me cheese to a plate used directly by the hands when they can be of anything (that you are serving, not preparing) what made me laugh was that a cook was wearing sandals, there is no criticism here, just afraid for his fingers, but hey you have to show off a pedicure 🤣.
All luxury, first visit and delighted with the treatment, the service and the food. The vegetable and goat cheese pizza with the delicious super thin dough, the wonderful vegetable lasagna and a Tuscan crostini as a starter to share, tomato, mozzarella, serrano ham and Italian mortadella, for dessert a tiramisu (delicious but could be improved). We will return for sure.
I had previously gone to Ginos and the truth is that I didn't remember it like that. We went as a family and each one ordered the menu of the day. As for the food, everything was very delicious. But it took them a long time to serve us, they made a mistake with one of the dishes and they brought us the wrong one. On the other hand, we had initially ordered some garlic breads as a starter as part of the menu and they did not arrive, as did the bread included in the menu which did not arrive until we were almost finishing the seconds. The coordination of the staff a bit of a disaster. I haven't been looking forward to returning.
