Been with them for years. This bank is cutting costs every way they can think of. But closing down the bank drive through tellers and only having ATM's. You're a Bank branch that's what you're there for, to have tellers! If I just wanted online banking, I could bank with anyone.
PS.... I had to get out during a bad rain storm and dripped all over your floors when you have a bank teller that could have just turned around and used the drive through windows like a normal bank does. I'm thinking TN Valley Credit Union they have several bank tellers, and drive through bank tellers, like real banks have... Wow
I would love to give this bank 5 stars but I can’t. I bank currently at two banks, I was in the process of switching everything to gucu and stopped once I found this out.
It is such an inconvenience for the drive thru to be totally atm’s.
Please put at least one person at the drive thru for convenience to families (unloading kids to have to come Inside ) and other people dropping off other people’s deposits.
I love this bank. I have never had a problem with it and have been coming here for 4 years. They’ve always been able solve any of my problems relating to my account. I came today and saw Beth because I had a fraud block on my debit card. She was so sweet and positive !! She was the absolute best !!
To be fair I had no problems with GUCU to begin with,
I liked the account I had for around a year,
better than BB&T with their excessive fees.
Until the second branch was about to close.
I started to not be able to make a deposit due to the ATM.
I started going to the remaining branch and continued to have the same problem with the ATM.
I tried mentioning the issue multiple times before closing my account & switching to another bank.
Two days later I received the standard survey email from them that you get when you call customer service,
saying I called two days before, when I had not done so.
I haven't received my remaining balance via check as I requested yet,
but it could still be on the way in the mail.
*Edit to note: I have since received my remaining balance.
if you need to speak to someone over the phone, i wouldnt call this location. i sat on hold for 30min before someone came on, and was still on the phone another 10 min to get my account straightened out and then the lady i spoke with kept cutting me off as i was trying to talk. would not recommend this location
