I've never had more unpleasant experiences with a financial institution. They gave me the runaround for 2 weeks before giving me money from my account (under $1000).
Incompetent, rude on top of that. I'm sure their behavior violated federal laws, but I'm just thankful I don't deal with them anymore.
Stay away from this credit union!

I will take my business elsewhere …. I came in to inquire about a checking account… I have a great credit score and I don’t want any hard or soft inquiries
GUCU has been no help dealing with identity theft issues. Someone tried to forward my mail to another address, and my password for my GUCU checking account has been changed to who knows what --- GUCU won't tell. I've tried to change the password but now GUCU won't accept as valid the information they ask for, when I know it is correct. Needless to say, I am going to gradually move the account to another credit union. This is a brief summary. I've tried through phone calls and two trips to the Tucker office, but absolutely no progress. I can't get a record of transactions on the account so who knows what is happening to the account.
We are looking forward to them opening Georgia United Credit Union in the Dunwoody or Doraville area. They closed the Tilly Mill location. We love being a credit union member.
This bank is horrible. I’m not sure who trains the representatives there but they need to be retrained. I have had multiple issues with this bank constantly. Every time I turn around something is entered incorrectly, “misunderstood’, not received or you just have to jump through hoops to get anything. Not to mention, to go through all of that, the wait times on the phone are exceedingly long!!! I should have listened to my gut a few years ago and withdrew my money from them and got established with a different credit union bank. It is VERY frustrating dealing with this bank. Just got off the phone speaking to a supervisor, who was very sweet, about these issues. Now I’m getting another call from them about a “misunderstanding” regarding another one of my accounts with them. Smh...over them.
