Nice mall. Trucker friendly parking. Milo and I got us a walk around before all the stores opened. Didn't plan it that way, but I'll be back next time for a shirt.
I was born in 1990. The Florence mall used to be the place to go, had the stores to shop, places to eat, and atmosphere to desire. When I walk through with my son, it depresses me. Went on a Saturday afternoon, what should be prime time, and practically nobody was there. It's not a bad mall at all, but for someone who visited regularly through it's prime years in the 90's and early 00's, it is but a shell of it's former glory. What I would do for the nostalgia of walking through this mall when it is packed and full of stores that have at least one product you desire. 3 stars because it's not bad at all, but 3 stars because it was once a 5.
Stopped here to let the kids ride the Happy Rides that had been asked about since our great experience getting ears pierced at Claire's this summer. I'm glad we still have this mall. It's pretty busy and has a decent shop selection.
When it comes to stores and value, Florence Mall is hard to beat. With Kenwood being so high end, and other malls in the area either closed or struggling, Florence is by far the best mall when it comes to value in the area. Plenty of large names and brands still found here, and plenty of nice stores that are nowhere else to be found in the tri-state area. A trip to Florence mall is well worth it. The mall also has an incredible modern retro feel with gorgeous tiling all throughout, and the mall overall just gives off a nice warm feeling. I have not had a bad experience at this mall and I always end up leaving having bought things.
Pretty nice older mall. Love the two stories. Glass elevator was nice and worked. However...both sides of escalators were messes up! Only one side worked on either end. There were quite a few empty stores as well. All in all, an okay experience
