EōS makes some fantastic gyms. Front desk staff here is great. Unfortunately the clientele at this location is disrespectful of the equipment (mostly MCC and ASU students). As I get older am I becoming a Karen or have people become so blatantly disrespectful of the spaces we share that I feel compelled to say something? Gym etiquette has gone drastically downhill in the last few years. See attached photos from tonight's workout.

This review is based on the personal training department. I loved my personal trainer. But unfortunately, due to medical issues I’m no longer able to continue my sessions. I called since 12/15/23 everyday to notify them of cancellation and provided them with medical note they needed. 12/19/23 I still got charged. I called today again after they said they were going to expedite it to the district manager towards the end of last week. Said I’d get a confirmation code that same day. I have not received anything as of today. I tried calling and it’s always the same “they’re not here/they’re on break: they’re in a meeting” for more than a week. I understand they’re busy, but no email or text to confirm everything went through. It’s frustrating.

The Eos on Alma school and Baseline was a big disappointment. There is a constant and pungent smell that comes from the bathrooms, almost sewage like, that unfortunately is present over most of the cardio and free weight area at the front of the gym. The place feels dirty and the equipment is usually unavailable. The biggest painpoint for me was that there is a room full of equipment that you are not allowed to use unless you are part of a class, which are far and few. I expressly asked about that room on my tour before signing up and the person said "yes, you can use the equipment for your work outs when there are no classes" (the way you can at some mountainside gyms). Overall, the only good thing about it was the movie room. I have sent several emails to try and resolve the fact that I can't cancel my membership, and have gotten no response. Another really big disappointment on it.

Over the past several months I have been having an issue with the personal training department. In July my PT told me he would be leaving in 6 weeks, which is ample time to find a replacement trainer... The PT Manager Trevor was supposed to contact me to get me set up with a new trainer. This never happened. I called Trevor several times and finally he offered to freeze my account until "He could find a morning trainer"... This was at the beginning of August. I have been charged every 2 weeks with no freeze, I have called and requested to speak to a manager and am told none are available and will call me back... At one point I was able to speak to someone who agreed to refund and cancel my PT and that hasn't happened either. I'm still being charged, and I have no personal trainer. I have asked to talk to the facility manager, and I was told that the facility manager does not deal with personal training issues. I would expect that a facility manager would care how their facility is run... But I guess the values you claim to have as a company do not apply at this facility "OUR MEMBERS & GUESTS: To inspire our members and guests every single day by putting a smile on their face that encourages them to come back. This will fuel exercise habits and enable fitness results." I use to work out there several times a week now I just want to cancel my membership and move to a gym that cares about their customers.

Clean, and spread out. This place is probably one of the biggest gym floors I have been in. Some of the machines are set together, but the free weight area has plenty of room. Clean, no funky sweat smells. I have gone here a few times when in the area.
